Delay of Game Paperback – February 21, 2017

I like a book that is entertaining, romantic, and well told and this offering is all that. Sure, I like "great literature" but in this genre, that is not my expectation. This is a well-told romance with the added angst of fierce Olympic-level competition and a little intrigue. This book gets bonus points for tight editing and no grammatical errors. I really enjoyed this book.

This is probably the best book I've read in a long while. I seriously could not put it down. The plot is intriguing, the characters engaging, and the romance is hot. It moved at a great pace and the ending was definitely satisfying. If you love a great romance read this book.

Loved the story, though I am not familiar with soccer the story was quite entertaining. Love story was beautifully written and the conflict was and can be felt by the reader.I thought Dani was given the opportunity to prevent jail, but guess not. Maybe not expressed accurately.Issued four stars because a little more action words could have added some thrill to some scenes. Also, some words were skipped.No matter, I enjoyed the story and recommend the same. Not really MA or PG a teen can read this story.

Richardson has given us another winner of a book! Her two protagonists were so well developed. The backdrop of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver really creates intensity and excitement and intrigue as well as the love story between Nikki and Eva. Overall a wonderful story!

This story had a little of everything, romance, competition, cheating, winning, losing, loving, and women's Olympic hockey! I'm not a big hockey fan and don't know the game very well, but that didn't matter. There is some hockey, but it's mostly about the teams and players and not too specific about how the game is played.

Really enjoy sports romances so this femme-femme story was fun & sexy w/ a little bit of team sports drama mixed in. It’s a satisfying romance if not a great one.

Having lived in Toronto, it was nice to revisit Canada's favourite pass-time. The story was an interesting one and I wasn't happy until I'd finished the book as I'd wanted to know "what happened next". This is my first reading of Ms Richardson's handiwork, and I look forward to reading more of her books.

Great romance! Not only did Tracey keep the chemistry going between Eva & Niki, but she kept me on the edge of my seat with the events during the hockey games. She didn't drone on & bury the story with too much details about the game which I've seen other authors do. Great story, great editing and heartwarming romance. Richardson will definitely be on my list of favorite authors.

A brilliant story from Tracey Richardson combining her love of ice hockey with romance. I loved the characters of Nik and Eva and how their story intertwined with the Olympics, there is sport,mystery,intrigue and love all between the covers of this book definitely a story worth re-reading again and again

I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end . Right from the first page . I had to finish it before I went to bed. I recommend this book to anyone.

I found this to be a great read which I read in 24 hours and didn't want to put down. Good story which kept my attention and enjoyable characters. Loved Niki and Eva's story.

Another good one by the author, I now just automatically buy her books, she’s made the must buy list! 😀

I really enjoyed this book, the characters and storyline are very good. I would definitely recommend this book, but it's not a quick read.
