TobyRich Moskito: Smartphone App Controlled Airplane - remote controlled drone for iOS & Android with joystick, biplane, double-decker, rc plane for beginners, adults, kids, very durable, crash-proof

This little airplane is super fun. First of all, it is very easy to handle with your smartphone and it is ready to fly right away once you've downloaded the app. It took me a few runs to get the hang of it, but no worries: I crashed into trees and lamp posts a few times but the plane is super durable. No marks whatsoever. My recommendation is, start flying low where the wind doesn't affect the plane too much. Once you get comfortable you can fly it high into the sky. To sum it up: Great technology, cool design and very fun to fly. You'll find me cruising with it in Prospect Park, Brooklyn ;)

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The plane is well built. It is very light, flies well and the controls are easy and intuitive. The packaging is really neat and organized. To use the plane you need to get the Moskito app from Play store (or App store) and power on the plane. The Bluetooth connection is seamless.Before your maiden flight you have to charge the plane for around 20-25 min. Green LED will tell you that the charging is complete.Flying the plane is even easier; gently throw it in the air while keeping the throttle at 80%. Then the plane starts to fly easily. You just have to tilt your phone at the direction that you want to go to and the plane turns that way. It takes a few flights till you get comfortable with the turning the plane. For such a light plane it packs a lot of power. It did fly quite high as you can see on the video.Since the plane is very light it doesn't get impacted with heavy force on crashes. I flew it on a park to be safe though. The plane has few cool bells and whistles. You can change the LED light to three different patterns.One word of caution: make sure its not too windy when you fly as you lose control of the plane on winds.Overall: It’s a well-built plane with intuitive controls that packs a lot of fun!

This is a toy, and it’s being reviewed as such. Worked right out of the box. While mine trims to the left pretty hard, it’s easy to get used to and with a bit of adjustment makes for easy flying in an enclosed space. Won’t be great outside unless there is no breeze. It was an impulse purchase for me, did not expect getting giddy every time I pull it out to fly around the warehouse when work is slow and everyone could use a little simple entertainment. If it breaks tomorrow I won’t be annoyed, it’s already taken plenty of hits that I thought would kill it, but no. This is one stout toy for what it is. Throw a few color options in, and I’ll buy another. We are already thinking dogfights should be a thing.

Plane motor stuck at full power, and the plane spirals up and up. I finally turned the phone off, which shut the engine down. Upon retrieval, the plane makes a faint Morse code SOS sound and won't connect to the app any more.There seem to be some eminently solveable problems with your app. What a shame...

Took a few flights to smoothly navigate the plane and keep from flying it into the ground but it's been a lot of fun and my dog especially loves to chase it around the yard! The plane is very durable despite being so lightweight and can withstand repeated, accidental impacts. Just have to be careful flying it in the wind as it can easily be swept off course. The app is very intuitive and easy to use and offers a fun, new perspective on remote controlled devices.

The TobyRich Moskito is a blast to fly! This is my second smart plane, the first one lasted 3+ years and endured much abuse. The second generation Moskito seems to be constructed much better than my first one. These planes are designed to endure crashing without hurting them. Keep in mind they cannot be flown in the wind or even much of a breeze weighing in at only a couple of ounces. Have fun!

I loved it! Super easy to set up and self explanatory handling, convenient with cable all. I had to find a proper open space to use it since I live in the city and was afraid I'd lose it if I try it on the balcony the first time. Had a really fun time and I feel like everybody in my family would actually enjoy playing with this. Might take it to the next party, too...

This really worked well in calm winds,but on third time out,it wouldn'y connect to (2) Android phones or one Iphone with the Toby Rich app. Too bad- grandson really liked it. Great customer service though.
