Justice League Classic: Day of the Undead

Day Of The Undead is a new Justice League children's book featuring the characters appearing in comics published by DC Entertainment. In this new adventure, The Batman(Bruce Wayne), Blue Beetle(Jaime Reyes), Hawkman(Katar Hol), and Hawkwoman(Shayera Thal) learned that a rare artifact from a Gotham museum has stolen and it was the Gentleman Ghost, who will use it to awaken the dead and become his army of zombies. It is up the JLI to stop the Ghost and his nightmarish plans. One of the many reason i liked about this book is that the DC Universe Superheroes was wearing their classic costumes, and not the New 52 versions that made the current DCU a laughing stock. Day Of The Undead is the best Justice League book for all fans of the JLI!

My son loves this book and it was a good price.

Pretty good book for children, but not infants unless your reading it to them.

In Day of the Undead, Batman gets together with other Justice League heroes to stop Gentleman Ghost from bringing chaos on earth, in the form of zombies using a rare artifact.The good thing about having two 5-year-old boys were are absolutely obssessed with all things superheroes is that we are reading books about heroes and villains I haven't heard of. This story not only included Batman, but the Blue Beetle, Hawkgirl and Hawkman. Not to mention the paranormal villain, Gentleman Ghost.I liked this paranormal storyline (being a zombie fan myself) and it wasn't too scary for my kids. They liked identifying the different heroes and villains, and were naturally thrilled when they all rallied together to save the day.A good story for young superhero fans.
