It is a sizable 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm) long, including the bale and hanging loop, and has a 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) diameter. This one-of-a-kind, handmade pendant has been carved and glazed to look like an ancient artifact that has been pieced back together. The lid and bottom portion of the pendant have been finished with an enamel glaze containing real gold. The middle portion has been finished with a stony matte glaze resembling rusted metal, glossy pearl, and an iridescent deep amber glaze. Wire and small tacks permanently secure the lid to the vessel. Because the vessel is ceramic, the unglazed inner surface will absorb your favorite essential oil or perfume, alleviating the need for cotton pads or panels, as used in typical metallic diffuser pendants.
