Our car is old, generally used only once per week, and driven only about 1/2 mile. Connecting the trickle charger has made the car start without difficulty instead of the battery getting progressively weaker.BUT - I must downgrade it now. After several months use one of the alligator clamps (the red one) flew apart.. I couldn't see a safe, easy way to fix it, so got another unit (Amazon, but different make).

Can't believe people make such of crappy products and is even legal to sell them in the USA... It's absolutely PATHETIC, some kind of joke... Even a kindergarten kid would make something better...Make yourself a favor and buy something else...Even the size of the "thing" is a joke- it will fit in the palm of your hand- imagine what kind of job will do...

No reverse polarity protection. The battery pigtail is also designed backward so the positive lead can short your battery to the frame when the charger isn’t connected. You can even tell they ignore logic based on the positive lead having the white text indicating it should be negative.

Disabled I built a remote control lawnmower this winter for lawn maintenance and needed a 24 volt charger to keep the two 12 volt batteries for the drive train at 100% charge when not in use... Working great so far.

Worked as described for intended use.

Works on my lift batteries.
