If I could, I would leave zero stars. This product does not work, period. It was awkward to set up, and once it was, I took it outside to my deck, to work on my picnic table, and the screen was still all glare. It doesn't work at all. What a waste of money.

I like to work from my boat at times. But it's not a yacht, so there's no indoor space/ceiling. Just a bimini cover. As the boat shifts and the day goes on, I'm not always in the shade, so this has worked very well to let me still see the screen clearly.It attaches with velcro on the back of the laptop screen. It comes with very good velcro though. I was initially worried that being in the sun, with a black plastic cover would just melt the glue and make a mess. It didn't even after two years of use. The plastic is stiff and fairly thick, which is good and bad. Good that it sustains the heat and stays in place, but bad in that it's bulky to transport and doesn't fold flat very well.ideally I'd love an option that didn't require me to have velcro strips on the backside of my monitor though, but for the cost and simplicity it's done its job for me. I haven't really found any other option.

I bought the compushade so i could use my laptop for photography out in the field when i may need some shade so i can see what i'm working on.i'm not thrilled with having to stick velcro all over the back of my laptop, if i don't have the shade on it looks weird. functionally its great so far, it blocks light just like its supposed to, and its fairly easy to get on and off.i can think of a few ways i would re-design it to have fewer moving sections and no velcro, but for now its alright.

The instructions for this were awful. I had to use additional velcro to that which was supplied and used it in places not suggested by the company. When you take it off, it is unwieldy. Since it is adjustable I thought I could use it on multiple devices, but to do that you have add yet more velcro.

I like this to protect my computer while taking a Martial Arts zoom class. Protects from sun glare, and during light rain.

Still can't seem to anything that actually works, so maybe there just isn't a product out yet. That being said, this screen doesn't do all that much to help with seeing the screen (despite the fact it covers the length of the laptop). More importantly, though, it's very flimsy and also didn't fit my 15" laptop. Tried to cut it down to size, which definitely did not work.
