Review: Replaced and changing from 1 to 5 stars! - UPDATE!! I decided to get a replacement instead of just returning it, and man am I glad I did! The first one was just a defective one. ***The new one adjusts just fine!*** I now love this cane! Very sturdy. The wide hand grip is much easier on my hand and wrist. Gait feels more natural. Slowly improving my posture. Note: one thing I said in my original review still stands: it will make you stand up straighter, so if you have trouble doing that because of lower back pain, it will initially cause more pain if you're not careful about it. Take it easy and go slow on how much you allow it to correct your posture, to give the compressed vertebrae time to adjust. Please make this cyclone cane MORE DISABILITY ACCESSIBLE! It is IMPOSSIBLE to adjust. I have cerebral palsy and fibromyalgia and may other things. And I am small and would have used the shortest setting most days when I'm walking around barefoot at home(I hate shoes lol), or when wearing thin soled shoes, but I need to be able to adjust it myself because thicker soled shoes like tennis shoes etc, raises me up enough to need to lengthen the cane a bit for proper stability. But with this one, I can't. This cane could have been great. It just arrived today and I've only had it a few hours and I can already tell it would have done wonders for my posture. Plus it was stable enough that I may not have even needed to switch the end cap out for the Hugo Quad Pod like I need for regular off set canes. But in trying to adjust the Cyclone Cane just to see if I could, after releasing the clip, and even taking the clip all the way out, it wouldn't budge. In fact, the only thing that did happen was the force of my trying to pull it out to extend the length made the end cap come off. And then in trying to push the end cap back on all the way, the cane shortened past the first hole and I can't even put the clip back in to secure it, because again, It. Won't. Budge. Very disappointed. I will be returning it asap and will likely also mark it defective.

A: Minimum length this cane shortens to is 31 inches, with maximum length at 36 inches.  So is not foldable to smaller parts then 31 inches.

**Q: Can I replace the cane tip, like on other canes, when it wears out at some point?**
A: Yes, you can replace the cane tip on Cyclone Cane with the identical Cyclone Cane Tip available on Amazon.

**Q: is it good for walking down stairs?**
A: No, it isn't good for walking down stairs. But then, I have found no cane or crutch that does this, and believe me, I have used several. This cane is sturdier and hold more weight (300 lb), than the less expensive canes, which makes it safer. That can be a very good thing while taking the stairs.

UPDATE!! I decided to get a replacement instead of just returning it, and man am I glad I did! The first one was just a defective one. ***The new one adjusts just fine!*** I now love this cane! This cane! People throw all your other canes away! You can stand taller not humped over! It’s more steady. You can count on the support you need from a cane. It’s made very well! People do look at you kind of funny. I was recently at a farmers market . Saw a man with my old straight cane he was humped over as I used to be. Cane was so worn paint was off ! I stopped had him grip my cyclone! First he held it backwards! I corrected him. Immediately he noted a stronger grip, I told him you have to get this as it changed my life and it will help yours! Well was end of market and here comes a lady ! Comes up to me tells me she is the wife of that gentleman with the cane earlier asks if the name was hurricane? I told her no it’s on Amazon, and the name is CYCLONE! Thank you for bringing such a much needed new device to help us all stand straighter, walk taller with confidence !
