Do you sometimes have a problem taking out seams? This new seam ripper cuts stitches in a row, instead of each stitch separately. The curved blade protects fabric from being cut. Now you can add a new tool to your sewing box to help you out with those stubborn seams.

Surgical Seam Ripper
Love, love, love it! If you're like me, whether you are modifying something you purchased, or fixing a mistake in your sewing project, ripping out seams can be a real pain in the "you know what." When I first discovered this seam ripper at a quaint little sewing shop (Knit & Sew World in St. Peter, MN), I thought what the heck, it's not too expensive, I'll give it a try. To my delightful surprise, it made ripping seams super easy, so I went back to the K&SW to purchase one for all 8 of my sisters and my quilting friends, but they only had 3 left and said they couldn't get more. I bought the 3, and went home to search online until I found it, and I bought 10 of them. That year, all of my sisters and quilting frieds received a surgical seam ripper for Christmas. This isn't a problem with the seller, but something that could make this product better is if the plastic cover could be slipped onto the handle end while the seam ripper is in use. The cover has a tendency to get misplaced while using the ripper. It's sharp, so be careful when using it, it slices through fabric as well as thread. Fantastic product for the price. You won't be disappointed!

A can't live without tool when sewing or making quilts!
I thought I rated this before. Anyway, it is my favorite tool! I can't make quilts without it as I have to rip out occasionally. Actually, I had a bad quilter once awhile back & had to rip out the whole quilt. Couldn't have done it without this useful product. Just remember to cut away from you. There is no stress on the fabric like with the other rippers!! Buy one and enjoy the benefits!

Works better than others
I have 3 of these and had a hard time finding them. They work so much better than regular seam rippers.

Same style, just not as sharp a point.
It's not as pointy at the tip as my old one. I'll have to file it a little. Not the fault of shipper.

It is good.

Super sharp!
Fast and easy to use. But be careful or you will have a hole in your fabric where you did not want one! Works great. No struggle to rip those seams with this.

This one has a blunt tip and it is dull as a butter knife
I bought this one to replace my old nifty notions seam ripper. This one has a blunt tip and it is dull as a butter knife. It sure is not the same quality of my old one. :(

Love it!
It is everything I expected to take out the smallest stitches on appliqué quilting. Would highly recommend.
