Quality school planner
This may not be the cheapest school planner, but it is a quality product with all the features that my kids needed for school. This is the second year that we have purchased this exact same product.... No complaints here!

simple, daughter uses it.
This is a useful planner for the 9th grader. It is free of embellishment so that it doesn't stand out in any way.

Disappointed
I liked that this planner is made for students with several classes. Unfortunately, I purchased 2 of these and they both arrived bent and worn. Very disappointed.

Damaged and doesn't match description
Bought two of these and both planners came as soft covers rather than hardcovers like their description. One cover was damaged when it arrived and had a random sticker on it that could not be removed without damaging the cover. On the contrary; the planner came in the correct size, everything else was included, and matched the description.

Great for homeschool or public school
We have been buying these for the past 8 years. We homeschool and our teens and I use them to schedule out their daily work for the week. They can keep track of daily assignments in each subject, as well as write in their other daily activities like work schedules, extracurricular activities, or their workouts. We prefer this grid which has daily slots for each subject/class instead of one large section for each weekday. The planner is pre-dated August 1 2022 through June 28 2023. That's plenty of time for our school year. There are planner stickers in the back but my kids never use them. The stickers say test, study, due-date, gym, game, mid-term, final exam, and pay bills. This is spiral bound with a thick, laminated cover. If you prefer to add it to a binder, it is 3-hole punched, but we have never done that. The planner has some study skill tips and some helpful charts at the beginning, as well as monthly calendars that have 2 per page for the academic year. A plastic bookmark that clips onto the spiral binding allows you to move it forward as a bookmark to easily find your place. It may not be the prettiest academic planner out there, but it's functional, and exactly what we need each week. Letting my teens fill it in also helps them take ownership of their lessons and work out their own method for completing the work each week.

Handy Planner
This is a very useful planner for any middle school or high school student. Each week is portrayed on 2 pages. There are 7 sections under each day, and each section has four lines. This lets students put homework, assignments, tests, etc in planner for each of their subjects. In the bottom right there is a 7 line box labeled "Don't Forget" to be able to put urgent items. On the top there is a "This Week's Goals" 3 line box, allowing the student to put in some key weekly goals. There are also 4 line boxes for Saturday and Sunday, so weekend activities can be captured. Each week also has a tip for studying, note taking, test taking, etc. That would be sufficient for a good planner. However, to help out students, there are pages on Study Skills, Exam Taking, Internet Safety, Bullying, Mathematics terms, Science units, converson factors, measurement systems, the periodic table, geography info, and English grammar. There are also 266 planning stickets. This planner can help your student organize their work and become more effective.
