Perfect for kayak and wade fishing.I took this wading with me and just left it floating there for a while, maybe 4-6 hours? It sure was floating for a while and eventually flushed still with the water but never sunked! The price is a little iffy and not sure I would buy another one at this price range, of I did then it would be the same one. Not to stiff, not annoying with it's net, and not to heavy.

I took this net out on a trip after receiving it a couple of days ago. The net itself performed well. The only problem is that I no longer have it as the bungee cord that attaches it to my belt failed and the net was lost in the surf. If you purchase this net (and I think I will have to do this again), the first thing you should do is remove the bungee that is included and replace it with a length of paracord. I plan on drilling a hole in the handle and running the cord through the hole. The net was a good value at $32. Now that I am effectively paying $65 for it, not so much.

This is a great net and I use it wade fishing, but all the straps fail at some point. It is a design flaw by Ego. In 1 case my friend lost the net entirely. I have bought several now for myself and friends.

this is a heavy duty,,,probably lifetime ,wading net. I use it while wade fishing for flounder.

Affordable net that is safe for the fish. It is a nice size for a kayak.

No more getting hooks caught in net!!! Plus it floats in case it’s not connected.

I’m an avid steelhead and trout fishermen and tried multiple nets to carry while wading. Nothing has compared to the EGO for it’s sturdiness. The rubber netting is great for catch and released fish with no harm and I’ve landed a bunch of 8 + lb brown trout and steelhead with this net.
