The abrasive grit on the bottom probably is a good thing to have if you are wearing these rubber ...
The abrasive grit on the bottom probably is a good thing to have if you are wearing these rubber shoe covers in icy or snowy conditions. However, if you are buying these boots for keeping your shoes dry in the rain, the sound of the grit on the pavement is obnoxious. I bought these for keeping my shoes dry in heavy rains so the noisy grit sound on the wet pavement is going to prevent me from using the boots which I will end up giving away .

Make sure you try them on when you receive them. I did not and waited for it to get rainy out before pulling these on. I realized one is much smaller than the other and will not even fit over my shoe! Past the return window so unfortuneately nothing I can do about it, but learn from my mistake.Other than the very different sizes, they seem well made so it gets a two star rating.

Good if looking for heavy duty cover.
Seem to be of high quality. They run true to size in my opinion (at least over tennis shoes). They are very heavy.

Fit Great!
I love these things, I've been a butcher for the better part of a decade and just about everything that hits my feet from salty blood to cleaning chemicals too nearly scalding water is terrible for leather boots. I wear a massive size 14 EEE. So it's either replace expensive waterproof footwear every 6 months, or wear shrimp boots and switch them off which is a pain when you're the boss and bouncing between the block and every other darn thing that needs to get done in a day. These fit with room to spare, they are the only shoe covers I have found that do. Easy on, easy off, snap the snaps and you're good to go. The sand on the bottom takes some getting used and is not really necessary for my occupation but there's nothing wrong with a little overkill as far as saftey goes.

Easy to put on over your existing work boots. Should have some sort of adjustment would make them much better.

They worked great. My shoes are to small right now because ...
They worked great. My shoes are to small right now because of bandages on my feet. I can only wear my slippers and these rubber shoe covers work great. Now I can out in the weather.

The overshoes I received were not acceptable,as only one boot had snap fasteners.
