The chapters are divided up into sections which easily outline what you need to know and clearly explain what each concept means. At the end of the chapter is a test to assess your knowledge, which you can use to make sure you've absorbed the information. I highly recommend this book for any student of medicine and health because it's full of good information, and it's simple to use. Also, it came on-time as I ordered in good condition. The only problem with the book is that the pages of the book itself feel a little cheap, like they printed the book on newsprint. This by no means diminishes its usefulness however. Now, wanting to go to nursing school, I needed to pass a HAPS test or retake those classes. I bought this book to study for it as I long ago got rid of my books and notes from the classes. I studied a little over 3 weeks cover to cover.I supplemented with some online practice questions from another site I found as the questions in the book and Cliffs notes online are not as good. Amazing how much a person can forget over 18 years, but I passed the test with room to spare! yay! The book covers everything on the HAPS test.
