hard to customize
The contacts are extremely difficult to solder without melting the opposite wall of the light. Super bright, and does not run hot from what I've experienced. I have not tried to use this with a "remote control" so I don't know why that is a rating option, and it did not come with "adhesion" either. My complaints are that the unit showed up and clearly looked like it had been opened, then returned and sold as new. The turning radius in good in one direction, but not another. I tried to pull the light out of a friction fit home made fixture, and it snapped a connection point. Also, I bought 2 and they were different thicknesses which was annoying. Nothing worth 1 or 2 star rating, but not deserving of a 5 star.

Great strip of lights, doesn’t come with anything
I was really excited about the price of this strip set, but it didn’t come with a remote,it doesn’t have an adhesive backing, and it didn’t come with a adapter cord to be able to plug it in to the wall (luckily I had one lying around from another LED strip). I used a gorilla puddy to fix it to the wall and that worked really well! The design I made will probably go out of style in a year, but I already know I’ll be able to repurpose this strip as an ambient lighting! It’s a great soft light.

LOVE! So much classier than led lights.
The media could not be loaded. I love these. They're so much classier than led lights. Super easy to set up, took about 10 minutes. I don't leave them on for long because I was scared about the adapter getting hot. I originally used an adapter I had, but it blew after about 15 minutes. I realized it wasn't the right kind. Yes I used the screws and attachments it came with. No it does NOT come with adhesive. Overall I love them so much.

Bright, Beautiful
It looks soooo good! was easy to work with. It came with the holders to screw onto wall, but it’s being held up with scotch tape!Insanely bright. Finding the adapter was a HASSLE, so for that it looses one star.Really adds an element to your space.

The color is so pretty and bright it does light up my whole room. The lights came already open it did not come with the cord to plug them in luckily I did have one I give my purchase a 6.5/10 .

Works Well
Used this to light up my RV closet. I had to tie it into my 12v power, but not difficult for me and am very happy with the result. I would buy again.

Very good if you don't need to solder. Otherwise, be forewarned.
I bought three colours for decorative lighting in a classic van. First, you must be very skilled to be able to solder wires on to the copper tabs. If you're only half decent, like me, there will be a learning curve since more than a split second of applied heat will burn the material. You will need a fine tipped iron and fine gauge soldering wire. Second, you must apply glue or silicon, even if you do an outstanding job soldering. This is because the rope gets warm when in operation, which causes the copper tabs to slide off the rope if the ends are not sealed. Finally, sharp bends will disrupt the internal connection resulting in no illumination past the bend. I was, however, very impressed with the brightness. The product works best if you only need one continuous piece without any sharp bends, in which case you can just use the wires that come attached to it and trim off what you don't need. In other words, the product works best if you don't need to do any soldering. Positive and ground are not reversible; there is a positive side and a negative side (don't mix them up!).

Continuous lighting and great color. BUT ! If you have to cut it ...
I just tested it and we are very satisfied with the quality of this product. Final installation will be completed soon. Stay tuned.BUT ! After trying 3 soldering irons 3 types of solder and watching multiple soldering videos I decided to go for another type of LED strip. Much too hard to obtain a good connection with these way too small patches of too thin copper. Too bad !!! More specs would be needed when selling these : wire specs, solderind specs. Soldering iron type and temperature specs. Clips specs. It would be a lot more professional. Is it too much to ask ?

Watch out the length !
Disappointed.I built a project which was 5 meter long as the company said about this led.But when recieved, it was 496 cm. I miss 4cm. This is huge.I was hoping getting more than less...Very disappointed.

Stupid bright!
Came with 10 little clips to secure it which was a happy surprise. Very bright which will be great in my sleeper on my kenworth. It will all be hidden but the glow will definitely be seen. Will be a nice thing at nite to be able to see in there without turning the ceiling lights on that blind me when driving 👌 ordered white for in the motorhome from the same seller and now I’m excited to see those show up! Gonna be awesome around the edge of the slides glowing out from behind. Now I am thinking of getting more since I have seen these. Under the cabinets is gonna need some glow too I think.

SOLDER and GLUE *required*!
Like many other users, the supplied electrical connection broke right off just by handling and inspecting the rope.I had never intended to use the electrical connection, but decided to solder my own end. Even with soldering, my ends broke off because of the flexible material simply cannot hold any weight. The only solution I found was to solder the wires, then e6000 glue and plastic from bread bag clips (cut in half) to form an end. This was the *ONLY* way to make the solder joint work, otherwise the wire would rip right off the end.Soldering itself was extremely easy as long as you tin the wires and flux. I used CAT-5 networking wire (twisted pair) as the wire. Go to youtube and watch a video on soldering tips if you need.Other than that, these lights are very, very nice and I used it for a PC case.
