We needed a carrier to fly our Maltese grand-dog from Bozeman to Phoenix--2 flights and 4 1/2 hours flying time. First time for Marsh to fly and our first to fly a dog. The carrier served our purposes well. It was secure and a safe environment for our dog. The mesh openings gave him a sense of security. I can't say Marsh "enjoyed" the flights, but we were quite comfortable using this carrier.

I needed a carrier for my kitty, Manny, who is about 11 pounds of ginger furriness. It is soft-sided, which is nice to store, and has a hard bottom, so it doesn't buckle when you pick it up. The bottom has a nice little bed of lamby-ness that is very cozy. I have been leaving it out, so Manny could get used to it and he loves to lay inside. It has mesh windows, so your critter can see out on all sides (even the top). The handles are sturdy and can be used to buckle it to the seatbelt. I am very happy with this carrier and highly recommend it.
