Dog Clothes - Handmade Dog Poncho from Authentic Mexican Blanket by Baja Ponchos (Pink, X-Large)

It has pink and the aqua blue and other colors. So nice. A bit long for my 7 lb poodle mix but works. Don’t think I will have to shorten it. Like that it is longer. She does too. The only thing is that the black inner lining - I am a bit worried it hasn’t been washed enough to keep it from bleeding when washing. So I will update the review after wards to let you know that it hopefully came out as vibrant on the outside as it was arriving on my door step. I would have like it to be denim or a medium color so I can reverse it with that color on the outside. Love that some of the proceeds going to help dogs.

My senior, 14-lb., long-bodied, often-cranky yorkie hates most clothing, especially things that need to go over his head or on his legs. Iv'e been bitten more than once while trying to get a coat over his head. He and I both like this poncho, which is easy to put on and take off using the two velcro strips (across chest in front and under the ribcage). After a recent shave down, my dog was chilly, even in the house. He seems to enjoy the warmth and comfort this garment provides without being too heavy (and he would definitely let me know if he were unhappy with it!). The quality is good, and it's very cute. Overall, a good purchase.

This poncho is well made and so darn cute! It is easy to get it on my dog and I love that she can wear her harness under it and it has a leash hole built in. The colors are vibrant and it fits her chest and length perfectly. We bought a size small for our chihuahua mix ( italian greyhound) who has a 16 inch chest and 13 inch body length from neck to beginning of tail. Highly recommend 👌 .

I just received this Mexican blanket dog coat today and it exceeded my expectations. High quality. The XSmall fits my 5lb. Chihuahua perfectly. Hand made in Mexico, so very authentic. Bonus: A portion of the proceeds goes to pet charities! The only downside is that it has to be hand washed. No bueno. I will put it in the washer on delicate cycle instead. Fingers crossed.

Love it, My Jack Russell has Addisons Disease so her natural coat stays very short even during the winter. She is a SUNSHINE Pup and when the weather gets in the 50s, she's cold. This will be perfect for her and is Texas Pup Approved!She is wearing a Medium. 😀

This was so cute, my do meet the specifications for size but still did not fit her. She is 5 lbs but could not get it around her belly for closure. She is not fat. Gave to the shelter. This coat was so cute, the colors vibrant but I would call it a fan jacket, not really warm for winter. Wish it fit.

I have an 8.5 lb Chihuahua and got a size xsmall in the southwestern style pattern. It fit perfectly and my dog likes to wear it on cold mornings. The outside of the poncho is very beautiful and the inside is soft and warm. It's nicely made and easy to put on. Highly recommend it!

For the price: A little concerned that they require hand washing and lay out drying. When you have two active dogs, that takes time when you are RVing (not a lot of space for washing or drying). They both look adorable, but I probably should have ordered a small for my little girl (We have an XXL Aussie Doodle and a XS Chihuahua). Not as heavy as I thought, We will see how warm they are. We live in Utah and travel all winter. Once I wash & dry them, I will post new review.

I first ordered the wrong size and contracted the company for some help with sizing. They were very helpful. I sent the first one back and ordered the correct size and it looks so cute on my chihuahua who has a 12 inch neck! He is tiny but has a big neck! The poncho is really well made and the colours are vibrant. I really like how it fits and looks and so does my little furbaby!

Very pleased with the quality of this poncho for our 4.5 lb Chihuahua. The attention to detail is evident in the fabric and stitching. This poncho will be perfect on spring days, summer nights and during our winters in Mexico.

Bought this poncho for my partners dog (Chihuahua mix - on the larger side). Originally got an XS and it was was too small (but that's my own fault, I just made a guess). Emailed them and exchanged for a larger size no problem, and the Small fits him perfectly. He has a 14 inch long back. Shipping was fast, quality is great and we love this coat since he is a rescue from Mexico! Love that part of the proceeds go to helping more dogs like him as well.

J’en ai commandé 3 de différentes grandeur pour mes chiens et je suis satisfaite. Important de bien mesurer les mensurations du chien surtout en longueur. Tendance à être long. Seul hic C’est doublé en tissus pas très respirant. J’ai même pensé l’enlever. Ou remplacer par un matériel plus léger. Mais c’est de très bonne qualité et livré très rapidement. Pour les soirées au chalet c’est parfait.!
