I was unpleasantly surprised when I received it that it's made of a seemingly cheap plastic material, can't really complain for 10 bucks, though. I put it on my car about 3 months ago and it's still there in perfect condition. I've bought one for my boyfriend, who preferred the FSM, and another for my friend. Hers is still on her truck too and we show off our fish to anyone who will hear us and see! : ) I can also say I live in a very religious community just as much as the next person. There are 6 churches in a 1.5 mile radius of the town of about 2700 people(just looked it up!). I have yet to be keyed or tailgated in any way. There are just as many obnoxious religious people as there are obnoxious atheists or agnostics(I know how I get around a Jesus fish! : P). I'm not saying you won't have a problem but I haven't yet.
