Grade A fountain!
I had the older model of this fountain for a about 4 years. It recently failed and I replaced it with an comparatively priced product. After just a month and a half I learned the new fountain was garbage, and despite regular cleanings, reeked of mold. My cats also obviously liked the petkit design better.I quickly ordered the tried and true petkit fountain, not expecting the redesign. Although it looks basically the same, the components are all updated and improved. I am excited to see how the upgrade works out and how long it lasts. I would recommend for pet parents with cats abd small dogs.

It truly is a 5 Star “A+” rated Product, super easy to Refill!
I have owned this product for several years, I was absolutely happy from day one as I am still happy all these years later. I’m just a single middle-aged person who has had a successful product development engineering career. Even though I returned to the product page looking for the secondary foam pump filters, the fact that this is now marked as a frequently returned item is the exact reason I am somedays ready to retire.First off, let’s address the “not wireless” complaint(s) that complain they used deception in advertising. This unit is connected to a wireless internet network, not requiring a wired connection, AND the most amazing feature of all makes me want to hug the mechanical engineer that designed it, a water pump that can be FULLY disassembled, even the external magnetic rotary shaft and turbine and this pump is also wireless which between the WiFi and the inductive pump certainly justified the use of the term wireless.Reviews said that to be wireless, it wouldn’t need to be plugged into the wall, but yet a third wireless feature is far better than batteries being pumped out of one’s wallet and into the landfill. The base is plugged into the wall but though another inductive feature (think of an iPhone charging without a cord) even though it’s not battery powered (thank God) the part that holds the water gets its electricity without a cord and this makes this a 3-bang pow wireless mechanism for high tech, easy cleaning and on the network so I can check how long it’s been since I changed the filter set that is very reasonably priced even when buying the brand name that is artificially sweetened if you wish. The one initial surprise when you start using this is that you may start wishing it had a water gauge so you could actually see where the water level is at. Yet it takes about a month to realize just how easy it is to fill up a 32 ounce cup of super fresh pre-cleaned refrigerator water fountain water and then start pouring that 32 (or 16 if your youthful) ounce glass slowly into the top without removing anything.Unfortunately, I don’t think the manufacturer suggests this route to people and their lack of creative thinking (if you can even call it that) is probably what led to the “frequently returned item”.Pouring it into the top doesn’t sacrifice anything and you don’t need to bother removing it from the base and taking the top off. Doing that would be like taking the entire pool cover off if you just wanted to level out the water. Just peel the edge to the side and fill it and replace, yet this fountain is even easier. The edges or even the top, gladly accepts water from the top. It’s a fountain after all!My cat absolutely loves it. To keep him constantly moving and getting exercise, I have it on my one unused kitchen countertop and he will jump up there to use it over the spare “just in case I were to never wake up from sleep (morbid I know) but single people have to think ahead.By the way. One could definitely argue that the stainless steel feature drew the attention that brought some of us here, yet how can we expect there to be a leaky cutout for a glass window so one can just see the water level. I know that if I pour 24oz into it every three days, I’m always over the so called max water level and anything outside of those ranges tells me a lot about his health and I let him know about it too. “Chucky need to drink more water. Water good for kitty cats”. LOL j/k his name is not Chucky haha.Seriously. Give companies a fair shake by knowing your never going to have every picky wish fulfilled, without hiring a company and having them design it for you for a couple hundred grand by the time your done and they will even let you put your names on it.As far as I know they are the first to have the wireless (yes it’s truly wireless 3 times over) water fountain like this.Oh, I was going to say that I when I bought an extra pump (knowing I run it 24/7) the new ones have an ultraviolet light in them to further clean that water and you know that light is doing its job as it also causes yellowing and discoloration of the plastic nearby. You only see this when cleaning the pump and I suspect it could eventually cause that plastic area to break (hence my backup $25 pump) but having that extra protection (and yes, the science backs it up) is nice.

Quiet, Reliable Water Fountain That Keeps My Dogs' Water Clean
I purchased the PETKIT Eversweet 3 Pro Cat Water Fountain after a neighbor recommended it, and it has been a great addition to my home. It’s affordable, very quiet, and provides fresh, filtered water for my three small dogs throughout the day. Before using this, I used regular water bowls, but they would quickly collect dust, hair, and debris. I didn’t like the idea of stagnant water sitting out for hours. This fountain circulates the water through a filter, keeping it much cleaner over time. It’s pretty eye-opening — if you check the filter after use, you’ll see how much it captures, even though I fill it with Coway filtered water. I usually change the filter early, around 70% of its life, because it still feels necessary based on what the filters catch. The app integration is a nice bonus. It sends notifications when it's time to refill or clean the fountain, which helps a lot with maintenance. Knowing that my dogs always have clean, fresh water available gives me peace of mind.

NOT TRULY WIRELESS - Very deceptive wording on both post and box
I bought this fountain because I enjoy the PETKIT brand and like all of my things to match. Here are my overall category ratings based on what I find most important.Aesthetic & Physical appearance: 9/10True to listing: 6/10Cleaning Ease: 10/10App Usefulness: 5/10Price point: 6/10I would first like to say that the aesthetic of the fountain is very sleek and minimalistic. As with all PETKIT products, at first glance they are aesthetically pleasing and almost futuristic looking. I would have preferred if this came in a square shape like some of their other models, but other than that it looks great.I am however disappointed by the deceptive use of the word wireless. I acknowledge that the listing title does say Wireless Pump, however the box itself says Eversweet Wireless and in the corner in much smaller lettering it then says wireless pump. Regardless, when I see the word wireless used, my first thought is that the fountain itself is wireless. This means it does not have to be actively plugged into an outlet to work. With today's technology, there is no reason this should need to be constantly plugged in. For me personally, I would not have purchased this if I knew it wasn't TRULY wireless. I'm still undecided if I am going to return this and replace it with a different PETKIT fountain or if I'm going to seek out another brand.Cleaning is a breeze since the main unit separates from the power/charging stand. The app is neat but it doesn't serve much purpose other than alerting you when the filter needs to be changed. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, this does not have a battery backup. I wouldn't have been so upset about the 'wireless' deception if it could simply run off batteries. Very, very poor design and I expected so much more from such an expensive brand.
