A: Yes, the HairFin is made of polypropylene.

**Q: Is 4 inches the longest your hair can be using this product?**
A: Yes, the longest guide is four inches.  I initially thought I'd use the 4" guide the most, but i actually use the 3" the most.  Maybe hold a ruler to different sections of your hair to help you get an idea of what 4" actually looks like.
