Baobest Baobab Fruit Powder 16 Ounce

This is really great in smoothies or in Cranberry juice. I have been using this for the last 3 months and just placed an received this last order of two bags. I also put this in my lemonade. I have not tried with just water. I will say this is the only supplement that I use....and it works. I was around people that had the flu for two weeks and I did not get sick not even a sniffle....which is surprising since I have Lupus....and I get sick normally from anyone that has a slight cold. The taste is tangy...no it doesn't taste like Tang...but it's tangy and citrusy. It's best putting it in the nutribullet with whatever juice you are using to make sure it's mixed thoroughly. I will continue to use this brand. Phenomenal benefits.

I am so in love with this product. Adding it our morning smoothies makes everything so smooth and creamy. I also love mixing it in water and sipping as an afternoon refresher. But lately i've learned that i can take any combination of frozen organic fruit, toss it into my Nutribullet with a little water or almond milk and Baobab powder to make a healthy, nutritious sorbet that is delicious. I could go on and on. I am very happy so far. This is a great product. I, especially, love how it adds extra fiber to my diet. Not to mention so many other benefits. I keep wondering where it's been my whole life.

Just got this product today. Of course I had to try it right away. It tastes...okay. It definitely doesn't taste like watered down tang like another reviewer mentioned. As long as I downed it quickly, I didn't notice the taste as much. I would recommend mixing the powder in something other than water, like juice or smoothie. I'll report back in a few weeks and see if I notice any differences.

I don't think it tastes anything like Tang, as others have mentioned. It does have the ascorbic taste of oranges or tamarind, but it also has it's own unique flavor. I hesitate to use the term, but it's almost 'musky', like what you'd get from muscadine grapes or papaya. It's not a bad flavor, but if you don't like the taste, it gets easily lost in stronger juice flavors like orange, tart cherry, or pomagranate. The powder will definitely thicken smoothies, it seems to thicken more depending on the temperature of the smoothie. Overall I love that this is an easy way to get a tasty balance of soluble/insoluble fiber, as well as a healthy dose of vitamin C.

Too sour for me

I read what others had to say about this product.Most were saying it taste like Tang. I have to strongly disagree,I taste nothing like tang in water. I also tried it in grape juice to mask the .powdery taste no luck.. I guess maybe they used it in Orange juice which I can not drink. I was so looking forward to the Tang Taste. Its not a really bad taste,I have tasted worst. I can not rate anything else on it because i just received it. I really wanted to taste it.,so I opened it up right away, and was very disappointed that it didn't taste like what other people were saying .

Perfect for shakes - put 1tbsp in your shakes, it gives you a great extra boost + more vitamins - easily :) Found that Baobab - was better than acai berry that is soo publicized. I found on the SHAPE magazine that this was the better version - & it sure is!

i usually order baobab from organic burst, a new zealand company , ships from england. being sold out i searched internet for a high quality rating. although i do prefer organic burst , this is an excellent brand; the flavour is rich & tangy. i use to alkaline every morning with lemon juice warmed; i use it through out the day in other ways. also if i feel too much acid it truly helps .
