Clif Shot Gel Mocha, 32.9-Ounce

Just what I wanted, as advertised and on time.

I use these while training for a Tough Mudder event. These sessions take me 2-3 hours to complete, covering 10-12 miles and a handful of obstacles. I consume one of these right before the session and another about mid-way through. Here's why I love them:-EFFECTIVENESS-These work! Sure, it's possible that there's a placebo effect but either way, I'm getting results. I feel like I have more energy and I have performance stats to prove it. I usually need an extra boost to help me finish well, especially if I'm running up crazy hills.-TASTE-I'm generally not a picky eater but I'll be honest, I was skeptical that these would taste good. I was determined to improve my performance so I gave these a try and was pleasantly surprised. The mocha flavor has no aftertaste and even though it's strong, it's not overwhelming.-PORTABILITY-Most gels are similar in size but these are even more portable! How? Well the litter leash allows me to put these through the loop of my running belt instead of having to stash them in a pocket somewhere. When I'm ready to use them, I simply tear off the top (don't need to unbuckle belt first).

I use these gel shots to give me that extra energy on a day long bike ride. They are a good snack that will revive you enough to get back home. I use these a lot. They are very Yummy too. Drink water along with them. Water is a must.

The Mocha Gels have just enough caffeine to make that next hill easier. The taste still has a way to go before it gets the fifth star.

I like the taste, and it gives me a little energy in the a.m. before a quick spin around the lake. All good.

Nice energy boost for the long bike rides or runs. NO after taste. Easy to digest.

The Clif Shot Gel Mocha is awesome! I run about 6 miles everyday and the shots are an outstanding supplement. I recommend them to athletes at any performance level to increase their endurance.
