Demons of Bourbon Street (The Jade Calhoun Series Book 3)

I liked the first couple installments but the ending was ridiculous. (SPOILERS) The fact that a group of unfeeling angels gets to decide that a soul that isn't Meri's goes to her is dumb. And on top of that, Meri getting Jade's empath abilities?? Anything coming after this book is ruined. The only unique thing about Jade was her empath abilities, now she's like any other dumb witch in this series. I won't be buying the next book because, like I stated earlier, the series is ruined. Might as well call this the "Jade is no longer important or unique" series. The only reason I would read another book of this series is if Jade ever got her uniqueness back and that's highly unlikely.

I couldn't put it down! I started reading it when I went to bed and next thing I knew the sun was coming up! Jade Calhoun, who just found out that she's a white witch with really strong powers, just wants to save her mother from Hell and release her from the clutches of an Angel turned Demon....who knew how many things could go wrong??? And that there was so much going on that she didn't know about? Jade ends up fighting not only for her mom, but for her friends and her very soul.All of the books in this series are so good and so much is going on in these deeply consuming books, you can't wait to see what happens next.

I liked these books at first, but now I am kind-of over it. I just didn't like the feel of this story nearly as much as the others. It was not bad, I just didn't feel as connected to the characters and where the story was going with this book. I also didn't like a lot of the new characters, they were just not likable and I didn't connect with them.Probably worth a read if you want to see what happens from the other books, but not the best of the series.

I didn’t like the middle, I didn’t like the ending and yet I couldn’t put the book down. I felt so ensnared in the lives of the characters. The actions of so-called angels, very self-serving; the Greater Good…wow that is just another way of saying “you have something we want and we are going to take it from you.” Bunch of crap! Jade is stronger than the angels give her credit for. The relationships between characters are so strong and realistic. However, there is an injustice in this book that just eats at me and yet I see the same thing watching the news. I am left with as many if not more questions than Jade herself. As much as it pissed me off I can’t wait for the next book.

Is it possible for third book in series to be even better than previous two? With this book The answer is yes! This book was, in fact insanely good. It kept me guessing all the way through with a couple jaw dropping moments.Jade barely has had time to recover from her last two crazy,life altering experiences(ghosts then witches) then she has to go to Hell to save a friend but to complicate matters, Zane needs help too.I swear this was a crazy ride from start to finish. I am so glad I read this series and can't wait for the next book, Angel 's of Bourbon Street. If you haven't read this series, I hate to sound like a broken record but you really should.Honestly I wish I could rate this higher than a five!

The third book tied up the first three books together very nicely. Jade is a good heroine she's not perfect and goes with her emotions more than what she thinks will work and she doesn't give up. Kane is very good for her as well as always being there for her. She has formed a good group of family and friends, one's who will always have her back. I'm looking forward for the next story.

I've really enjoyed reading Deanna Chase's trilogy of the Jade Calhoun series. The 1st book, Haunted on Bourbon Street got my attention so much, that I just couldn't wait for Witches of Bourbon Street, and then of course the finale, Demons of Bourbon Street. Ever since I visited N'awlins a few years back, I love reading books about the area, it makes me feel like I'm still there. It's a wonderful & fun place to visit. Now, though I'm sad to see the books come to a close, I look forward to whatever new adventure Deanna has in mind for us.

This was a good 3 book of the series. But I have to say it did not keep my attention and had some long parts in it where I had to push myself to keep reading. It was good and glad I finished it.

I love this series! I came across Deanna Chase by accident and I'm so glad I did. Jade Calhoun is a great heroine - vulnerable but strong, smart yet occasionally stupid (we all know what that's like, yeah??) but always committed to friends and family. She battles all sorts of demons and always goes back for more. Pure fantasy, but great escapist literature.......

Enjoyed very much Jade's fight for her soul and all the plot and characters around it. Meri did surprise me, who'd say? The relations between Meri and Philip, Philip, Lailah and Dan, Dan and Jade, Jade and Meri... wow!I love Kane and Jade, they are a very romantic couple and their scenes together are what I enjoy more in these books.

3rd in the series and the writing has remained consistant throughout. Not too many twists or turns in this book and the end is predictible. There isn't any obvious set up for another book so it will be interesting to see where the author takes this series. If you are new to the series you really need to read the first 2 books in the series to make sense of this book.

Great book

Another great story in this wonderful series. Jade is doing what Jade does best, helping and saving family and friends.

Great ending bringing everything together for a happily ever after. I liked that at the end of the series I was not left feeling let down. I would recommend this series and the kindle price for the 3 books will cost you less than 1 paperback.

I loved, loved, loved these books! Can't wait for the 4th one to be released, was truly enjoying reading them. I engaged with the characters, it kept me gripped (to the point I wasn't going to sleep early enough!) and the twists and turns are great

Great story

Jade is once again having difficulties on Bourbon Street this time with a demon he'll bent on having Jade's soul, with plenty of action twists an turns made for an enjoyable read.

I simply adore this series. It's very cleverly written, with fantastic characters and lots of twists. If you like love stories with strong women you will adore this series. It will keep you captured from book 1 right the way through.

The books are good. But I Have started to loose interest buy the time I got to the third book

Fantastic, as with the 2 books before I couldn't put it down, near to the end I couldn't read anything through tears, sorry the story has now come to an end, what will I read now!!!!!

Great read - another super addition to this series.I am definitely hooked and will be looking at other books by this author :-)

This is a good series of books. Fans of the Jolie Wilkins series and other supernatural series will enjoy these. Definitely worth a read.

Yet again another cant put it down instalment of Jade's adventures can't wait to start the next one. A must read
