Looking for something to line the inside of the cabinets in my Motorhome ti help with heat** A: I would not paint it. It is a sponge foam. They are somewhat rigid and easy to cut to fit. They hold their shape better than fiberglass bats will over time in a shaking, vibrating vehicle.
