**Q: How does a router attach?**
A: You need to make a 3/8" thick base for your router and that will fit in the slots of the rails.

**Q: so the sled does not have bearing tubes like Vevor makes, just allows the plate you make to slide on the surface of the rails?**
A: I just got this unit and the "rails" do not have berrings. They only allow the router to slide. Glide coat works great for this. Or just paste wax

**Q: how do you make a custom 3/8 base plate?**
A: I made mine from 1/2" MDF then cut down two edges to 3/8".

**Q: I have a bosch 1617evs router with both plunge and fixed base.. what am i missing because i am not able to get the bit to lower to my material?**
A: I had the same problem. You need to raise the material you are trying to cut. It never worked for me, I am returning it!
