First time buying aftermarket for my printer, I am impressed with the quality versus price on this ! very nice. The kit was neatly packed along with a small instruction foldout. I admit to printing the test page twice as the first one was a bit spotty in places no doubt from new ink getting in to a printer that had not been used for about 4 months, but second test page looks great for anything I will need at home. HP is ripping us off when buying their ink (IMHO), these Color King cartridges work as hoped indeed ! Side Note, my printer knew they were not genuine HP when first inserted, just pressed ok on screen and printed just fine after the maintenance cycle.

These are the second set of inks of this brand that I've purchased. It does work well with my HP Printer, it does recognize that it is NOT HP printer cartridge's but still no problems printingI did have an issue with the magenta cartridge that broke and just wanted to replace just the magenta as all the other cartridges still had high ink levels, and would just replace with this order as the emptied. I'm not sure if it is an HP thing or the ColorKings' issue, but I HAD to replaces all the existing cartridges for them to be accepted by the printer. Not a big deal, but I am loosing out on what ink was in the first set of cartridges.Other then that minor issue, I do recommend these combo packs

6 month update -- These cartridges continue to work well for our household. They work so well that we bought another set. We are using them in HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 and HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 printers. Both accept the cartridges and the print quality is excellent. The HP software works with them too, so it is still possible to use all the functions of the printers.Original review -- I'm a skeptic when it comes to non-OEM printer cartridges. I have had bad experiences with them in the past, so lately I have only been buying OEM cartridges. But when the price of the 951XL and 950XL ink cartridges approaches $150 at Costco for my HP 8630 printer, that is getting outrageous (and here I am blaming HP, not Costco). I purchased these cartridges for $33.99 and have used three of the four so far. All have worked flawlessly. The print quality seems as good as the HP cartridges. I can't say for sure if I will get the same page count from each cartridge but, even if they fall short, they are still a great bargain.

The only reason there is even 1 star is because I couldn't submit the review without picking a star! They don't work and they damaged my printer which has always worked flawlessly. I saw this item at Amazon while looking for ink supplies. I have an HP 3620 and use cartridges Black (950) and CMY (951). Although a bit wary of not using the genuine HP products, the rave reviews sold me and if they worked, they'd be a great value. They came very nicely packaged which always assured my confidence in them. I ordered these in March and set them in my supply cabinet because I work from home and don't want downtime to have to re-order. It's July 3rd and I just endeavored to install my first one - Cyan. In inserted easily and normally and the printer started to do the normal adjustments that happen after installing a new cartridge. I got the message in the photo above - PRINTER FAILURE! I followed the instructions in the printer window for turning on and off, unplugging and plugging. Not fixed. I did this several times. I took the one re-manufactured cartridge out (the Cyan) and got Cyan ink on my fingers and on my shirt (ruined). I'm in the middle of a project with a deadline so I ran out to Office Depot and got a genuine Cyan (951) cartridge. Printer is STILL damaged. I went online and researched it and followed same instructions. Printer NOT WORKING - still in failure. This is about more than the loss of the initial investment. This is time and time is $$ - never mind ruining good clothing. NOT HAPPY and going to miss a deadline. ORDER THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I think I now also need a new printer and even the genuine HP Cyan I just bought can't be returned.S. Bahler 7/3/2023

These cartridges are individually sealed in plastic and nicely packed in a box. The chips were intact and I had no fear of losing any. I've been used to feeling a spring when I inserted every other cartridge that I've ever used, but I couldn't feel the same thing on one of these. However, it did slide into place and printed as expected. Based on the description and reviews I wasn't expecting any error messages when I installed these, but I've used two so far and both did have error messages. They still went on to work with no further issues. The colors were vivid and printed with no streaks, so I plan to buy these again.

I was about to recycle my old HP printer because I could not justify spending so much on ink for a printer AI rarely use. I saw this ink on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! My printer works flawlessly. Everything I am printing is as good as using OEM ink, for a fraction of the cost. I had no issues installing the cartridges: just be sure to read and follow the directions. Now my printer is back in top form, and I am not so worried about cost of ink for a printer I rarely use (but its so good to have when I do need!)
