I love this base sauce. Of course I supplement with a teaspoon of "astrattu" and most recently I experimented by adding a can of good sardines to supplement the piece that come in the sauce. Add some raising and pine nuts for additional taste bud treats! Top off pasta ( I use linguine with finished sauce and then some "toasted breadcrumbs". Deliziosa!

I had this product last year while visiting Sicily, Italy, and I was pleasantly surprise that I could find it in the US through Amazon. This product it is used in the making of "PASTA CON SARDE" a Sicilian with spaghetti dish one that I grew with. The reason I give only 4 stars instead of 5 is because I found that the actually sardine chunks are not as much I expected, but the flavor is the same as I had in Sicily. Good product and good seller.

For anyone who loves sardines this is the ideal item it’s actually cheaper on Amazon then it is in the stores so if you get a tale of three cans you’re really getting it at a good price because you have to see what stores carry it not a lot of stores have this this item has mostly I think in an Italian store on in all stores that carry food and I Chyna category so it’s
