Much better than tape
Does what pipe dope is supposed to do, seal threads from leaking. Will last a long time.

Does what it’s supposed to do buy it if you need it
Solid product does what it’s supposed to do. It’s of a thickness that it clings to threads fairly well, it is very easy to use with a brush in the cap and I only used it for a water pipe, but it did its job there ceiling up some connections that I was making. It’s been holding now for several weeks at about 60 psi so it’s a good product it seems does its job.

Use on all pipe joints
This is the only thing I use in the house and on the farm. From toilets to hydraulic lines and back to low pressure propane and natural gas lines. Even if I am working on drain piping under the sink this is your friend.

Much Easier to Apply Than Thread Tape
I used this while installing plumbing components in my RV, and it worked exactly as expected. The brush built into the lid makes it quick and easy to apply an even coat without making a mess. I've always used thread tape in the past, but after using this pipe joint compound I can see why so many plumbers prefer it. It goes on easily, allows the fittings to tighten smoothly, and sealed my threaded connections without any leaks. The 4-ounce can should last a long time since only a small amount is needed for each fitting. Based on my experience so far, I'll definitely keep a can of this in my toolbox for future plumbing projects.

Good seal insurance
Very good at reliable seal. I first use teflon tape and then use this over the tape. Have had good results without the tape also.

Great product
Quick to apply, not runny has the right viscosity and works. You don’t need alot of force to tighten fittings when compared to teflon tape.

Use joint compound in conjunction with Teflon tape for best results.
Used it on top of Teflon tape applied to plastic piping on a pool pump. I was still getting leaks without the joint compound . Maybe I could have used just the joint compound?
