I bought this tool because of the price. I did a lot of research before hand and I came across a couple blogs where a few woodworkers are convinced this tool comes out of the same factory as a high end hand plane. This plane is primarily sold in England from what I gathered. This woodworker said it’s an almost identical hand plane. I’m new to using them and it has been awesome so far. It has the forward/back adjustment screw at the back, visible in some of the supplied pictures, but the frog is secured in place with two screws under the iron, as found in the Bailey pattern planes.
