Volvo engine vacuum squeal fix
My daughter’s 2017 Volvo XC90 developed a squeal which sounded like a belt but turned out to be a vacuum squeal noise which went away if the oil fill cap was removed. Google indicated it was the PVC box that was the usual problem. Change the box using this one and the squeal is gone. Waaayyy cheaper than the dealer $400 part price.

IT WORKS JUST FINE.
This is a no brainer. Beginner level install skill and 20 minutes gets you back on the road. Hardest part was removing the old one as it was intimidatingly stuck on. This unit fit on the 2018 XC90 just fine. After about 50 miles of driving the check engine light went out as well. If the same squealing noise comes back maybe I'll go to an OEM Volvo, but I can probably buy this once a year and still have money left over from what it most likely will cost at a dealership.

this definitely help to reduce the loss of oil, it's very similar to the OEM one on my 2016 xc90. Saved quite a bit with going this route.
