You're probably here because this is the highest rated car HUD you could find right? This is a cool little gadget, but there's a few things you should know. First, you're not buying this for its practicality, this isn't going to replace your speedo. Secondly, I've read a lot of reviews of other devices and found a lot of complaints about the accuracy and response time of the speed from the device. Let me clear that up by saying, there's no speed measuring sensor in the device whatsoever. You're simply buying a project that takes zero measurements itself. All the measurement is done by your car, which is transmitted to the projector through the OBD II port and it simply projects what it's told to project. Therefore, it's unfair to give these things a bad review because the speed is wrong or it has a small latency since your car does all the measuring. As far as visuals, this thing is plenty bright especially at night, and I only ever had trouble reading it in super direct sunlight, but it's really in its full glory at night.The reason I didn't give them 5 stars: the speed offset. Like I said, the car's computer is responsible for the speed measurement, not this device, but they could give you a better way to change the speed display if it's incorrect. Right now, they let you scale your speed by some percentage factor (so if your speed says 10, but your real speed is 11, you could set the percent offset to 110%). While this is a step in the right direction, a proper offset would include an actual offset, not just a scaling offset. To get a bit mathy with you, they've set a y=m*x offset whereas they need a y=m*x + b offset. This would mean that if your speed was only off by 2mph for all speeds, you could simply adjust all readings by 2mph. Small issue but it could really make the speed reading more accurate. The accuracy of mine is centered around 40, but it will be as much as 5mph high around 85 or so, and slightly off around 10-20.Overall, I'd get it again but only for cool factor; know you're not buying a precision measuring device or a speedo replacement.

My brother has a lexus and it is already comes with something like this. It is very nice that when youre driving and the speed is there within your sight that you dont even have to roll your eye down to look. This thing is a similar thing to adds on for your car. The installation only took me about less than 10minutes to complete. It is very straight forward install, just hook up your obdii and run the cable to your gear.

Works well. At night and cloudy day, nice bright display. Washes out a bit on sunny day, but still visible, disappears when wearing sun glasses (not so good). Got it for speed display and MPG. Speed display is great, MPG is displayed as liters/100km. OK, had to make conversion chart, but over time I can convert in my head. Does what I purchased it for.

Somewhat difficult in applying the mirror film to windscreen properly, but easy to see in almost every condition. You might want to order additional windscreen films to relocate image based on position on dashboard or if you get a crease or flaw in film while mounting. Takes some adjustment to get used to using HUD properly.

This unit is super easy to install and set up to your specifications. You can have as much or as little information on the screen as you want.Update.... System has now stopped reading data from engine. I attempted a reboot but the HUD is not responding to the reset.

Worked right out the box. But didn't like the windshield refletor, looked like I had a huge sticker on my windshield. Major issue was that it caused my PCM computer to crash and I had to spend $200.00 to replace. It started blinking after startup and took longer displaying even after I started driving for a few minutes. My advice, don't use your OBD plug for anything other than to check for codes. I wouldn't buy this again.👎🏽👎🏽

I have to adjust 4,5 times before it match with the speed odometer. It get really hot under the sun. It's good for night time driving, bright and clear.

It's not great without the screen you have to stick on the window and even with that it's not that bright during the day. At night it's ok... didn't like it enough to keep it
