This item arrived defective. We rigged it up to work so my son would have his gift for Christmas while simultaneously contacting the seller. It is now 25 days later and we received one email asking for pictures and no other communication. Additionally the sound stopped working on the second day. Terrible product and worse customer service.

We love this product and we play everyday with our daughter. This becomes our best family game everyday. When this product arrived, I immediately installed it. It took me four (4) hours from start to finish because I was so careful not to make a mistake. After it got done, we moved the whole thing to its spot. It was not heavy. I had my 7 year old help me and then we play. We love our new indoor arcade. I highly recommended to all her classmates.

I'm a fairly handy guy who's put his share of items together. The build on this basketball set wasn't difficult, just would have been easier with 2 set of hands. Took me about an 1 1/2 hr. while doing very carefully (part of my cons below). Also, I wasn't aware of this when I purchased it, but it is battery powered and there's no option to use a plug.So here's my pros and cons.pros:* affordable* portable and takes up very little space when in the stowed* pump make quick work of inflation* seamless install with very little issues* able to play without the appcons:* entire frame is wobbly (even with nuts/bolts firmly tightened)* tubing is thin and flexes a great deal (be careful assembling, connection points can be bent easily)* locking joints are weak (springs are pinch points for kids)* no plug option* app is in not done, (when attempting to login to facebook - to create an account, received a login alert from facebook)All in all, it's ok. Wish I knew it was only battery powered and was expecting it to be more sturdy. Plus the fact that the app is not complete..it's difficult to give it a better rating.

Just got the SHAQ Double Hoop Shot Basketball Arcade. I follow the instruction assembly video and get it set up about 40 mins. It has been a huge hit with my kids and their friends!!! With the exception of batteries, it comes with everything one needs to get it up and running including ball pump (with needle) and tools (wrench and combination allen wrench/phillips screwdriver). The components are made of good quality materials that are appropriate for the products price point. The rims are durable and the basketballs are made of good quality textured rubber. The tubular steel frame is sturdy but lightweight so that the unit can be easily folded and moved. In this day and age of mobile devices and wireless connectivity, the option to use a phone app that is connective via bluetooth is a definite plus that wows kids. The included selfie stick-like phone mount (to hold a phone to display the app) and a front pocket to hold the pump and/or phone) are nice touches, too!

This was the only thing my 11 year old wanted for Christmas. It was a little tricky to put together. The tools are included but helps greatly to use your own! It took almost 2 hours but it was mostly my 17 year old son who put it together. It has been used nonstop. We all have had fun playing it and it is pretty sturdy. I have a drop ceiling in basement but it still was fine for this.

I ordered this for our basement game room. Shipping was good but overall product is mediocre. Upon opening the box, the packaging, parts and balls were very dirty amid parts already starting to rust. The assembly was fairly simple. As far as quality, its thin, flimsy and wobbles. The scoreboard is pretty much useless as the cover that came with it is white and blurs the numbers so you can't read them. It just looks like red dots, so we took it out. Customer service is terrible as they only communicate via email and with a poor response time. Regrettably, the game sat as the game room was under construction and I didn't check its contents until much later. Otherwise it would've been returned immediately. Overall lesson learned and I do not recommend this product.

Getting the game out of the box and setting it up wasn’t the problem. The game was fun to play and everything worked. After almost a year of having it I needed to use the fold up feature and move it to another room. Upon unfolding it completely snapped. This is why it gets one star.

Once you figure out how to get it set up. I watched the video. I read and followed directions. Plan on two people for about 3 hours to assemble. One trip to hardware for 4 wood screws as supplied tips broke off. There was no nozzle to fill the balls with so had to buy one of those too. Other than that it looks good and is sturdy.
