I used this with my son after he was diagnosed with visual perceptual issues but before he was able to get lined up with visual therapy. It was easy to use and had many of the activities that his visual therapist now uses with him in it. It was a great way to bridge that gap.

Book was on time and in great condition. The content is very similar to tests given by OT and I hope it helps my son develop his visual perceptual skills to age equilancy.

I bought this for a kindergarten age child and it was really too simple for her. She does have a need for vision therapy but we were waiting for her to adjust to her new bifocals. I bought this to give her a little exercise for her eyes in the meantime. Maybe the next book would be more appropriate for her but this one was EXTREMELY simplistic. This would work for preschool but it is too much of a stretch to say that it is very beneficial for kindergarten or first grade children.

I got this for my son who is in Kindergarten and he loves it. It's one of his favorite books.

Fun puzzles that develop thinking skills

My 4 year old loves this!!!! He will be 5 in 3 months time. This came as part of the homeschool curriculum I purchased for him. He is doing a combination of Pre-K and Kindergarten as he is a little advanced for his age.He always asks to keep going on this workbook. It is a nice break from Math, Reading, and Spelling and I plan on purchasing Book 2 for him and his older sibling when this is completed.I would definitely say it is for Pre-K and K.My first grader would definitely enjoy it as he is always bummed when his brother gets to do it. I do think it may be on the easy side for most first graders but I do not think that would diminish the value. Of course, if you are worried it is too easy just level up to book 2, 2-4 grade.And the layout of this book is not babyish in the least-- great fit for ANYONE/ANY Age needing work on visual perception skills.

Our 4 year old son completed this book at the beginning of his Kindergarten year and he breezed through it. Although easy for him, it was still good practice. I can see where this book would work really well for those children with visual learning difficulties.The book starts out with some very simple mazes and progressively gets harder with a variety of shapes, squiggles, number order etc. By the end, your child ill be looking at 8 digit numbers. A great book to have on hand to challenge those young minds. Definitely a book we will use again. Answers are provided.
