It's made out of thin bendable plastic and fits well and securely around the phone. I bought it taking my chances because it has a 2.5 star review but it's well worth the 5. I already bought one with the bunny and the cat. This one is supposedly just purple and white cherry blossom. Normally I can wipe the phone case with rubbing alcohol to disinfect aka kill germs. This one doesn't seem to have a layer to prevent the designs from coming off. I started using this case last night. I will attach an image as reference. And I just placed a new order for a different cherry blossom design.
