Woodsy Whimsical Owl Figurine, 4.5-inch

I love my Whimsical Owl and I also bought his side kick, who is an inch larger, so it appears to be mom and child owl or possibly dad and son. Whoever, you'd like. I wanted them for a room to match the blue walls as well as the other blue pieces in the blue and white faux finished room. Not going to happen there. They are not blue or blue grey nor are they near that color. They are brown with natural wood tones. They are not too heavy, not too light to hold...I think they're adorable and well made. I was a tiny bit disappointed the owls are not blue, however, I will not give these cuties back! They are in my office room, placed on a side table along with a table lamp that works well with them. I knew it wouldn't be difficult to find somewhere to place them. I gave 4 stars only because of the color. Is it possible the owls were available in blue and now they are not? Or did the photographer take a poor photo? Both can be possible reasons for the color. But, not an excuse to look so blue/grey. Monitoring the site for these little issues would be a good idea. Do not get me wrong; I love Amazon.com!

I ordered the figurine for my sister because she loves owls. The figurine is adorable but my issue is with the "whimsical" aspect. It is very large, it is a piece of wire that comes down and covers the nose, it does not stop above the nose. It is off centered and stays in place by two holes on either side at the top of the head. There is no way to fix it, so I will probably have to take it off. It is cute without it but that is what really made me want to purchase the figurine

whimsical owl is cute but , I was expecting a blue figure as shown in picture (received a brown) which was the reason I bought it. Not worth time or $$ to return .More accurate descriptions are needed. Packed. well and delivered on time

it's very cute, but thought it was smaller, and the metal brow is ready to fall off this one too. going to send back.

Bought one as a gift, in lieu of the usual candy and/or nuts and/or fruit to give for a holiday visit or dinner.

Not quite as cute as the picture, the colors are different, more brown and dull in person. Overall, still cute and it shipped and arrived quickly.

I'm not one to read descriptions so on his arrival finding out he was wood and not ceramic was a bonus! However he is not blue as he seems to be in the picture, which again was in my benefit. lol. He's goingf to fit in wonderfully in my newly decorated bathroom. Total LOVE!

Very cute owl figurine only complain is that it's not as brightly colored as it looks in the picture.
