Adjust for Height of Headboard / Footboard The #35 Down Hook Bolt-On Conversion Bracket for Headboard and Footboard attachment allows the consumer to make an adjustment for height. Thus, different size headboards and footboards can be accommodated. There is no provision for width adjustment with this bracket. Adjustment Range: Vertical: 2". Note on the Vertical Adjustment Range The vertical adjustment dimensions are based on the bracket bolts being approximately 2 1/2" apart. Placing the bolts closer together would result in a greater vertical adjustment range, but could possible decrease the strength of the connection. If a vertical height adjustment, within the specified range of 2" is needed, then the #35 would be the correct choice. Hooks Are Pointed Down The hooks on the #35 are pointed down. The #35 bracket should be used when the headboard and/or footboard can support the weight of the bed. I wish I could give this a better review but unfortunately I wasn’t able to use them do to my head board hooks being to far off the ground and I would have to raise the bed. I ordered them before I got the new bed and frame because I knew I would need something like this. I wish I had waited to order or known that the two may not line up. This has nothing to do with the product or company, the product appears to be solid and the company shipped super fast and love that this was an option to keep my headboard that I love.

Arrived early
The seller let me know when my item shipped and I was happy that it arrived early. I wanted to set up the guest bed over the weekend and was able to. The brackets worked perfectly.

Attaches easily and done!
The product is as described, and is very well made. Holes line up and make adding an older foot and headboard to a newer metal bedframe easy . Just bolt them on and attach the head and footboard. And your done!

May fit some frames, but didn't work for us
These conversion brackets were much too shallow to fit the headboard/footboard that we have. The didn't seem to have good stability, and the hooks weren't anywhere near deep enough to fit our frame, so we ended up going a different route to fit our frame.Although the product insert says it fits most frames, we tried it to see if it would fit another frame that we have and they didn't fit them either. So perhaps these are made for lesser, more shallow frames, not deeper better made frames, I don't know. They just didn't work for us, so we returned them.

Parts did not fit my bed frame
I have a wooden headboard with a metal base. The brackets hooked on the headboard but there was not enough room to attached nut/bolt to the base. If I put nut/bolt on first it wouldn't reach the bar in the headboard. Product description did not contain detail on what type of bed frame it would work with. It looked compatible from what I could tell but it didn't work.

Read instructions
Not normally one to read the instructions on such a simple procedure. But I glad I did. Would not have installed these “upside down “🤣. Used these on a metal bed frame and in order to keep the legs on the floor it needed to be installed with the hooks facing up😳. Worked great.

No info needing wrench
I would have given this a five star but when assembling You cannot Get the Screws Tight enough Without a Wrench to tighten the Bolts that were included, but over all with bed frame with compatible mount endings These hooks worked fine Just make sure you have the right wrench to fully tighten the hooks to get rid of the " wobble "..
