I had a previous camera that was okay. This one is much better. For one thing, it is much smaller than the previous one I had. That is in part that it lacks the video output, but if I want to view videos, it is simple to remove the micro-SD card and view them on my computer so I don't miss that functionality. The screen is small, but if it were larger, it would be more distracting. It would be nice to be able to turn it off, but it is okay as is. Performance is solid. The mounting system is much better than that of the previous model as well.It lacks the LED lights for nighttime video use, but they seemed to be redundant anyway as the vehicle's headlights give sufficient light for the camera to work.Bottom line: I like it and would purchase again.

After a little problem of receiving a camera without the memory card. The camera is working well. I leave it plugged in all the time, when the car is on the camera is on.

I'm only writing this review because Amazon wouldn't let me contact the seller. I bought this December 30th of last year. Product worked great at first. During the late summer, it all of a sudden told me that I needed to insert a SD card. However, there was already one inserted. At that time I bought another SD card and tried inserting it after I removed the last one and the product won't let me insert a new one. It's almost as if there is something in the way because it only goes in about half way. So now I am out two 32BG SD cards since I have no other products to use them with and the cost of the dashcam product.

Guess I got what I paid for. Instructions are poorly written and unit does not do what it says it does in the instructions.Still waiting for a response from seller on how to correct issues. It does take decent video but the mini SD card is very difficult to remove and the control buttons are tiny.UPDATE - still waiting reply from seller. Now the Unit keeps shutting off after aprox 30 secs even though card isn't full. Now doing what I should have done to begin with and spend for a decent camera. DON"T WASTE YOUR $$. 👎 👎 👎

The media could not be loaded.  This is a very good camera!!! The wire has become loose but I used some tape to fix it and I'm glad I did. Today 7/25/2017 my Cadillac almost got totaled. I'm so thankful that nothing happened, but also thankful i had this dash cam incase something did. Also don't leave in sun, if you do this it will need time to cool down or else pictures will be blurry. I also ordered a 32gb micro sd card to have more room to store video.

first there were weird zigzags on the screen, then it randomly turned on and off and then it stopped working. I wish I returned it right away...

Works great. I will not have to depend on people doing the right thing and stopping as a witness to an accident again.

Great product for a very reasonable price. You can use the provided card reader to download all videos to your computer if you ever need it.Great insurance in case of an accident and you have to prove your case. Perfect size and does not hinder your front view but takes great pictures.The instructions are a little iffy but if you play around with it for 20 minutes, you can figure out all the features. But unbeatable for the price point when all the other dash cameras with the same feature are close to 100$ or more.
