excellent alternative to the garbage.
Chances are that this replacement is going on a laptop that has little to no value. At the price point of this keyboard, it makes it worth while. exact fit. I would like to see packaging improved a bit. Mine was delivered with a bent corner. Like the OEM, this metal bends very easily. I was lucky that the bend was very small and that I was able to easily straighten it. On installation something odd happened that I did not expect. I installed the keyboard and made the mistake of not testing before I clipped it in place. No doubt I would have destroyed it if I had to remove it to correct a plug in procedure for example. In my case the keyboard was non responsive. I was a little p*ssed. But after about one minute it started working and continues to work perfectly. One of the dead keys around the arrows has fallen out but that does not bother me too much. I will glue it in place with a glue gun. Good buy.
