Packing tape dispenser 2-inch+1 FREE Roll - ribbon cutter – heavy, fast, comfortable handles. Hand Held Industrial Side Loading Tape. Update.

This dispenser would be perfect if the tape didn't stick to the little shiny flap (see circle on photo) - not sure what it's called. It sticks to the tape making it impossible to roll any more tape off the roll. The handle has a good grip, the teeth do a good job of cutting the tape - when I can actually get that far. The little shiny thing does [kind of] help keep the tape from slipping off of the roller, but it is just too much. I've tried adjusting the spring, didn't really help. Out of desperation, I taped the flap back so that it didn't come into contact with the tape. That helped a great deal, but I feel that such an adjustment shouldn't be necessary on my part.

Awful, the tape kept sticking to the roller, I would have to physically take the tape and cut it on the cutter, since the plastic barrier was too close to cutter, if that makes sense. I had one that worked perfectly, and forever, I don't know what brand, I wish I did. this one finally just fell apart, and only used for shipping back Amazon stuff. Not even moving, which really would be totally been impossible! It literally fell apart in the area where the tape roller sets on this device. I am ordering another make/brand now. We will see.

I prefer this tape gun to one I paid $15.00 for. It's easy to load and use and it will work with any tape, including the not-so-well-made. I made the mistake of buying some cheap thin tape but this gun can handle it. I won't buy anything but Scotch heavy duty from now on, however. I highly recommend this tape dispenser.

It looks like they've "upgraded" since I bought mine but the version I have is awful. I've never been able to figure out exactly what the problem is but bottom line- the tape won't roll off the roller. I kept trying to adjust the red knob in the middle, thinking that was the problem. Nope. I bought new tape thinking that was the problem. Nope. I wish I had returned it when I had the chance but kept thinking I'd unlock the mysteries of this dispenser. Turns out it's just crap.

The Dispenser works fine but the metal bracket extends down into the handle area and bites into the hand when you get busy with it. We are going to grind ours off, but why should we have to?

Love it. Works much better than other dispensers I have used. Well built and should last a long time.

After many attempts to adjust and correct, this dispenser has made it's way to the trash. It never consistently rolled tape onto packages, causing a lot of headaches and wasted time. The tape almost always jammed at the roller and metal plate, and once freed up made a mess of the tape and/or package. Going to purchase a more industrial grade dispenser next time.

Cutter teeth are too large & spaced too far apart. This dispenser will not cut heavy-duty packaging tape.
