Exactly what I needed!
I just installed this temperature alarm system and it is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for! . I wanted to install a warning system in my remote pole barn in case there is an overheating situation on my EV charging system when charging my car. There’s power in there (obviously!) but no heating. So, a home smoke alarm won’t work in the freezing conditions of winter – they are only good down to 45F or so. I do have a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi bridge from the house to provide internet. I’ve tried other systems but either they were impossible to set up, didn’t have an alarm, and/or required a subscription to get phone notifications. This MOCREO alarm system has none of those issues. . The set up is very straight forward and hassle-free. Everything connected immediately and seamlessly. A rare occurrence in my experience, and I’m an engineer, comfortable with technology. As soon as the sensor was connected, I knew the temperature at the sensor! 😊 . My kit included two sensors and a non-display hub. My phone provides all my visual needs. So far, I only need one sensor, at the EV-rated 240V NEMA 14-50 plug, which is the most likely source of a temperature problem. The sensor unit is magnetic and so simply snaps to my steel walls. The sensor itself comes with an adhesive-backed clip to hold it where it is needed. I have yet to confirm the normal operating temperature at the plug while charging for a few hours, so that I can properly set the alarm temperature limit. It will get warm but not hot. The compact hub fits in one of my spare outlets not too far away and only occupies one outlet, not two, as some larger hubs can. . Not only can I get an alarm notification when the outlet and plug might overheat, I can get a graph with historical temperature data over time. Not just the outlet's temp., but the garage temp. in that area also. Awesome! For me, as an engineer, the more data the better! I also can easily see the sensor unit battery charge also. . I paid $50 for the system. Money well spent from my perspective! . Since I’ve only used it for a few minutes so far, I will update this review if I have any issues. So far, I love it!

Simple, easy temperature measurement
Easiest tech gadget setup ever! Super fast too! It just works immediately. I have nothing bad to say about it. 2 thumbs up. I just got it and installed one temperature sensor in my garage freezer and the other in my garage fridge. I had fun watching the temperature drop. The cables are super thin, so I expect there will be no issue with frost build-up. There's a lot of extra cable, so it'd make sense to keep that twisty tie around for câble management. We'll see how long it takes my kids to rip the wires in half, not tell me, and then I see the temperature goes haywire.

Great System
I have several freezers that contain the wild game meat that I harvest each year and I wanted to be able to monitor their operation in real time so I purchased this system to try. Extremely happy with my purchase. Very easy to install and works amazingly well. The APP that you download onto your phone provides a seamless, instantaneous link with the individual sensors and it provides you with all the information you need at the touch of a screen. The sensors continuously monitor the internal temp of the freezer and instantly detect any variance in the temps and immediately report to you via email and text message that the temperature has changed. You set the upper and lower limit for temperature based on your needs so you can custom tune the system to meet your needs. You can add more sensors if you wish, which I did, and doing this was very easy. This system even lets you add water sensors which I did in several locations in my basement (near water heater, oil burner, laundry room) and just like the temperature sensors the water sensors were very easy to add to the system and they work great. This system gives me great "peace of mind" when it comes to my freezers and the safety of my wild game meat as well as being able to constantly monitor any water leaks that might arise in my basement. This is really a great system. Get one, you won't be sorry.

Works well but the hub makes noise
Update: the seller reached out and offered a refund, which I declined since I’m still using it, and they then offered to send a replacement, which I accepted. Good follow-up! I think the problem may have been the power supply, since the old hub did not buzz on the new power supply. I e-cycled the original power supply. Upgrading the 4 stars. Original review: I installed this with little trouble and have 4 sensors and am adding two more, all in a vacation home. It’s really quiet there, it in the woods. First night I kept hearing this rhythmic medium pitch buzzing and tracked it down to this hub. The light on it changes a little while buzzing. See the video, crank up the volume. My phone didn’t pick it up very well. This is no good. Does it mean the unit is defective in some way and will eventually fail? Bottom line, good idea and useful device, but the buzzing is a buzz kill. Luckily I’m not there more than I am in the winter so have time to sort this out.

Monitor Temps On Smart Phone From Anywhere
This device is spot on when it comes to providing a solution for monitoring my refrigerator and chest freezer in the garage. It was easy to set up. I’m not only getting real time temperature readings on my iPhone anywhere around the world, but when I’m home, I also get an audible alarm if temperatures climb outside of Target range. Very happy with the product!

Excellent Product, highly reliable
I have been using this now in my garage freezer for almost two years, and it has worked extremely well. It's especially valuable when we're on vacation, anywhere in the world that has Internet service. Power had been inadvertently cut off to a freezer before that, and we lost about $400 worth of meat. With the Mocreo, we would have been notified as soon as the power tripped off and could have had a neighbor start the freezer up again. The Mocreo antenna has been knocked down a few times when there's no problem with the freezer, in which case we are notified that the connection has been lost. I keep the unit on our main computer desk where it's in view all the time.

Useful and Easy to Use after Installation Is Complete
Everything works properly, and the new Mocreo Smart app for the second generation of their devices works fine. The only issue is lack of clear instructions on how to add a device (especially the sensors). So I would suggest that they include in their instructions to tap on the + sign in the top right corner of the app to add a sensor. Nowhere are there instructions to do that, and it took me 30 minutes notice the little plus sign and to click on it so I could begin the process of adding the sensors.

Lots of pros & cons with this freezer monitor
I am very tech savvy and love enable me to check status from my phone. So, when we bought a new upright deep freezer 7 cubic foot and I wanted something that enabled me to check to make sure it was working correctly. It was to be located just outside my kitchen only 15 feet from my French door refrigerator/freezer. I chose this monitor as it had two sensors. This way I could monitor both with one app. I located the hub between the two so that each one was no more than a few feet from the sensor. It was a breeze to set up and create an account. Battery power was at 100% on both (even after several days use), reception was exceptional and it quickly starting working on both freezers. It was not difficult to set my high and low temperature settings. I set the temp from -10-+10 if memory serves me correctly on both sensorsThere is an extremely long cord on the sensor so it can be mounted from about any reasonable distance. I also placed a digital thermometer and a manual thermometer inside the new deep freezer. All in the same area. I had two other thermometers in my inside freezer as well. All sensors were placed in same general area. Over a few days I monitored the situation and found all three thermometers USUALLY had the same temp.. However, the Mocreo would suddenly jump about 10 degrees higher without opening the door or changing anything. The monitor would go off and I would check only to find the other two thermometers would be the same temperature. I could live with this but found it puzzling. After a couple of days the alerts starting acting erratically. It would suddenly jump 20 degrees and alarm. In every case the freezer had been closed for 12+ hours with not being opened at all and no fluctuation in exterior temperature. The two other thermometers would be well within my set range and would be within a degree of each other. Then I began to realize that the alerts on my phone were not being received until 20-30 minutes after the alert on the hub. While that was my #1 con, my #2 con was the cord on the sensor. It is long as previously stated but the suction cup is totally inadequate. I could not get it to adhere for any length of time without coming off. In my upright freezer no matter where I located the cord it would leave a gap where air could get it and it would create a heavy frost area. I was very careful and tried to place it in various locations to no avail. This caused in just a few days a heavy buildup. Since removing the sensor there has been no additional buildup anywhere in the freezer. Since it is a new freezer the seal is very tight but it was no match for this sensor cord. I had no difficulty with the one in my kitchen that is the dreawer type freezer. The alert function hub I also found disappointing. I want to note that the sensors I received even though the box attached to the sensor has what appears to be a speaker located on it. It does not alarm so you only have the hub that actually sounds the alarm. I turned off the hub in hopes that would make the sensors alarm but they did not make a sound. Overall, I think this is a wonderful idea that came with all needed items, looked very nice, had a great reception and easy setup. However, I returned mine as I determined for whatever the reason it was not dependable. Getting out of bed first thing in the morning for an alert that is not an alert is not acceptable. Adding additional ice buildup in my freezer is not either. Perhaps I received a defective item. I was not willing to waste my time trying to get another and having to set it up all over again.

Maravilla
Me ahorra mucho tiempo pues cofepris me pide esa misma bitácora

Absolute junk - Doesn’t work, beware
Took 3 weeks to arrive, and it was faulty - doesn’t work, stuck in a never ending red flashing light loop. Messaged for support multiple times and got no response. Product feels extremely cheap and plasticky, Seriously don’t even bother wasting your money.

Wonderful sensors and free platform
Amazing truly, used it for chilled water surface measurements to see the delta T and it was so good.
