This is a super strap!!! Not sure if I'd use it on ponies though. It's pretty heavy duty and has some weight to it. Perfect for my warmblood, but while cantering...it bounces a little and it may bother small mouths.? Otherwise...very well made! Clips are large enough to grab any ring (on any bit). I have a large loose ring snaffle and it's so easy to use on it. I LOVE that the ring swivels! because it's so easy to reverse direction now. I wish I had bought this years ago.

perfect for my lunge line
perfect for my lunge line...now we are fluid, fast and can change directions faster! most importantly, my horse is happy she doesn't' have to deal with me changing the metal clip each time we change directions

Super lightweight & good quality!
Very good quality item and so lightweight that it won't interfere with lunging a horse. You can use it on a snaffle bit bridle and the horse barely feels it. Better than the last one I had. The snaps are super easy to use and smooth moving.Does have a tendency to get misplaced among other tack because the black color blends in. Sure wouldn't mind if other colors were available.
