In my mind, this is worth it. The added weight comes from the added surface area— 10x10 is big enough for a whole lot of camp options. This tarp is unbelievably versatile, before this I had a cheap $10 poly tarp that was the same size but considerably stiffer and heavier. This is lighter, more flexible, has more points for lashings, and is considerably more durable. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get more serious about bushcraft, though for beginners I would tell you to get the $10 tarp and earn your stripes first, I see no point in spending a bunch of money on a hobby before you even know if you like it or not. Review: Excellent tarp - This is a great tarp. My only problem is the weight which is a bit much for me to carry on backpacking trips. ## Features - STORMPROOF: Strong & lightweight 190T Polyester; fully seam-taped with 3,000mm-rated waterproof PU coating. - UV PROTECTION: UV50+ rated material provides protection against 98% of UVA and UVB rays. - VERSATILE: 19 reinforced attachment points provide opportunties for multiple set-ups; on the ground or suspended between trees over a hammock. - LIGHTWEIGHT & COMPACT: Weighing only 790g (excluding pegs & guys), and easily packable for the coverage on offer. - READY TO PITCH: Includes 4 pegs & 4 guy-lines, allowing for a variety of set-ups straight out of the stuff-sack. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005FPN7GE | | Best Sellers Rank | #241,001 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #160 in Camping Tent Tarps | | Brand | DD HAMMOCKS | | Brand Name | DD HAMMOCKS | | Color | Olive Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,354 Reviews | | Included Components | Tarp, 4 x pegs & guy lines, stuff sack | | Item Dimensions L x W | 118.11"L x 118.11"W | | Item Weight | 790 g | | Manufacturer | DD Hammocks ltd. | | Manufacturer Part Number | MA-21300 | | Material | Polyester | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Number | DD 3M X 3M Olive Tarp | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Camping | | Size | 10ft x 10ft | | UPC | 610696771025 | | Ultraviolet Light Protection | True | | Unit Count | 100 Square Feet | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** DD HAMMOCKS - **Color:** Olive Green - **Included Components:** Tarp, 4 x pegs & guy lines, stuff sack - **Item Weight:** 790 g - **Material:** Polyester - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Product Dimensions:** 118.11"L x 118.11"W - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Camping - **Size:** 10ft x 10ft - **Water Resistance Level:** Waterproof ## Images ![DD Tarp 3x3 - Olive Green: 10ft x 10ft - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61cXsAGc9VL.jpg) ![DD Tarp 3x3 - Olive Green: 10ft x 10ft - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81sCuOaaOJL.jpg) ![DD Tarp 3x3 - Olive Green: 10ft x 10ft - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710fkcWGmmL.jpg) ![DD Tarp 3x3 - Olive Green: 10ft x 10ft - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71SxV3+rffL.jpg) ![DD Tarp 3x3 - Olive Green: 10ft x 10ft - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71MOojeg7fL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly as expected *by M***R on February 18, 2020* It’s lighter and more versatile than a tent but heavier than some tarp options. My only problem is the weight which is a bit much for me to carry on backpacking trips. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great and Awesome product *by J***S on April 6, 2020* This tarp is built like a tank! It is very rugged. I used it backpacking as my top tarp with a ground cloth in cold weather. This kept the snow out of my sleeping area and kept the condensate from my breath off of me and my gear. I did have to shake the ice from the condensate off of it before packing it up. Nice thing about the square tarp is there are so many pitches. You can find something for any weather or climate. This is heavier than an ultra light tarp but is much more rugged. It's worth the extra weigh. Also, its small enough to fit into a day pack. ## Frequently Bought Together - DD Hammocks - DD Tarp 3x3 - Olive Green: 10ft x 10ft - Bahco 396-LAP Laplander Folding Saw, 9-Inch Blade, 7 TPI, Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/41312722-dd-tarp-3x3-olive-green-10ft-x-10ft](https://www.desertcart.be/products/41312722-dd-tarp-3x3-olive-green-10ft-x-10ft) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
