Summer Brain Quest: Between Grades 5 & 6

This Brain Quest summer workbook is an excellent educational tool for helping children stay engaged academically during school breaks. The activities are fun, well organized, and cover multiple subjects in a way that feels interactive rather than overwhelming. It keeps learning consistent without feeling too much like traditional schoolwork. Overall, it’s a highly effective and enjoyable workbook that supports learning and confidence over the summer.

I don't really have anything I dislike about brainquest workbooks. I find them to be very helpful, quick, easy (-ish, depending on kiddo), and nicely illustrated. We especially love that it has a map with stickers to show kiddos accomplishments and how much is left to do. At the end kiddo receives a reward and we celebrate the finish. It keeps her from sliding during the summer or other vacations and has very easy to read guidance. Parents can easily follow the directions to help guide kiddos and the answer key is available too for a quick check. Love love love the Summer books especially and wish they had them for higher grade levels. This is a worthwhile investment for your kiddo and I strongly recommend to anyone wanting to ensure a rich education and keep kiddos sharp!

Great workbook that is filled with exercises that are engaging and challenging. The workbook map with stickers helps my kids to stay focused and want to achieve completing everything. I highly recommend.

My rising 6th grader is enjoying this. She reads a lot on her own, but this throws in some math, science, and social studies that are enough to keep her engaged in those subjects. The excerpts are varied and interesting (Mayan culture, comparing beetle sizes, poetry). There's a treasure map, and you get stickers for completing each page - that bit is a little juvenile for 6th grade, but it's cute and she doesn't mind. One warning: there's little to no instruction, so if you aren't confident in your knowledge of conjunctions vs. prepositions, vs. interjections, you may need to consult professor google for some pages.

Very good for the kids to keep their head in the books and progress during school.

My kids love these. This is the second summer of these books. After the first Summer my children asked to do these again this year. The books are set up nicely and walk the kiddos through different lessons with easy explanations. The books work through many subjects and has a fun sticker trail for completion of the lessons! I will continue to use these books through the highest grade level available.

We love this item for Summers. We always get one of these books for our son so that he can keep his studies fresh in his mind. It's always helpful so that he has an easier start to the next school year. This one has a quest with a map and stickers that he follows that's why it's called Summer Brain quest! Fun for kids and helpful for parents.

Definitely recommend to help your child not loose some of the knowledge she learned the previous year. Recommend to purchase one for each summer with the grade appropriate grade.
