Q: I have transititional lens glasses will this work with them?

I, too, wear transitional lens glasses and it works well for me!

Q: What is the horizontal strap attached to the vertical strap on the left side for?

I returned this one and just bought a different product … the straps just didn’t hold it tight enough for my liking…it was a PIA to put on and take off wanted something easy to attach and remove. I just purchased two and I like the Sailead Sun Visor … also purchased the Joytutus …. I prefer the way the Sailead attached to the visor.

Yes. Not blackout just darker. But it does help with the bright sun in your face. Better than nothing at all
