The double sided tape I will not use again it sticks extremely well but is a pain to remove from bottom of mold. Silicon released easily from frame, this is a lot easier the building box’s out of plexiglass every time. Hard to get off and does not work that well. The two side gorilla tape or similar from Home Depot is better. Nice and wide and generally comes off easier. For a base I use the lids from carryout/delivery food. I use hot glue to seal the outer edge. Hooray! *by D***. on March 16, 2026* I have had trouble with other mold housing leaking, and never tried one that is customizable and clips together. I was also skeptical of an included double-sided tape to create a seal....but, to my surprise and amazement, this product rocks! I was able to quickly set up a custom sized enclosure and the included tape actually sealed---no leaking of my expensive platinum silicone! I bought two of these as a trial and I am so glad I did, will def' get more. The only thing that could be improved are a few optional pieces with built in "keys", but that is easy enough to DIY when you are doing your pour.
