Filterbuy 14x18x1 Air Filter MERV 8 Dust Defense (2-Pack), Pleated HVAC AC Furnace Air Filters Replacement (Actual Size: 13.50 x 17.50 x 0.75 Inches)

I purchased the Size: 14x18x1 MERV 8 filter for an apartment. The quality is good and they came packaged well and were not bent. It's just the size that is off (the short side runs about about 13" instead of 14" --- which means air is getting around the filter) and that is frustrating. Even my cheap, cheap, cheap (ultra cheap with no MERV or anything else useful) filters *are* the right size, so I just can't understand why the manufacturer can't size these properly.I read someone's post who uses a bit of weatherstripping on them when they don't fit quite right. I'll likely do that on the next filter.Until I find something better, I'll continue with these.

These filters arrived with crushed corners. There was no damage on the box. Honestly it looks like the filters were a tight fit and the packer had to use force to get the filters in the box, thus the crushing. Also these filters are not the size advertised. They are actually 1/2” smaller in length and width. They do not fit our heater.

The product itself is great the purchase was not so great. I bought a damaged product for a few dollars less. 2 filters that were slightly bent. When I finally got around to looking at them one of the filters had been used. I recommend always paying the extra for brand new in original packaging. This package had been inspected and ok'd to sell. I atleast got 1 good filter that I desperately needed so I'm fine with the purchase. These filters work great. Buyer beware, my fault for trying to save a few dollars.

Item was as described. True to size and delivered in perfect condition. The arrow for air flow is printed in the wrong direction though. Wire/mesh side faces the unit. Other than that I will purchase again. I live in a condo unit and the filters my property manager provide is such bad quality. This is definitely a big upgrade.

Great quality AC filters. Helps with my allergies. I can’t find the size filters I need in any stores, so it’s so nice to be able to order them off prime. These are great and worth the extra money, especially if you have pets, or suffer from allergies!

The product was easy to install and appears to be of high quality. It definitely beats the 1.5-year-old, dust-saturated filter it replaced.I also want to praise FilterBuy's customer service. (I realize this is not necessarily the place to praise a seller, but FB seems to be the primary [if not exclusive] seller, and my window to review the seller closed. Still, FB deserves ample compliments.)I had what seemed to be a shipping issue, and FilterBuy was nothing but prompt, courteous, and generous in addressing my issue. For the customer service alone, I would highly recommend giving FilterBuy a shot on any of its offerings.

Looking for a source of filters locally this size wasn't readily available; and was recommended to try these out.. I purchased another brand filter of the same size but this worked and performed much better, the air seems much fresher. The delivery was fast and filters came in undamaged will definitely purchase again. This is my 2nd purchase and just as happy with them! Update this is my second purchase of (two) 2 and quality is exceptional!

I have a condo sized air conditioner and can't always find this size. They are more expensive than what I can get locally, but they are always available and work and fit perfectly.
