This adapter is a high quality design and works as designed. Battery holder slides on and off the mount and is locked by the battery being installed. I wouldn’t use the lever lock if you’re going to be using this in a wet environment and it would be nice if they threw in two heat shrink butt connectors but that’s just my suggestion. Overall very pleased with the product I received.

Kid loves the upgrade, hours of use with flawless operation.

I have 12V batteries and charger for Milwaukee's lightweight 12V drill motor. It occurred to me that the batteries would make an excellent power source for a gadget I built and use away from a convenient 115VAC source. This socket makes that possible and allows me to move from the heavy lead acid 12VDC motorcycle battery I'd been using. I plan on buying another one to provide remote power to another home built gadget. My only complaint is that the battery fits a bit too snugly in the socket. I'm sure it will loosen with time and use but at present removing the battery from the socket while compressing the two latches can be a struggle.Update: The "too snug" fit proved to be a problem for my arthritic hands. My solution? I cut the latch lands from the socket (see photo) so the battery can be removed with just a pull. The application is stationary so the retention assurance of the latch feature isn't required. Nonetheless, the battery still fits snugly and is adequately retained when fully mated to the contacts.

The 30amp fuse seems a bit much to actually protect any devices hooked up to it. Also the two pieces just slide together and quite often come apart when changing the battery.

I bought it to make a powered sprayer. I couldn't be happier. The batteries fit securely.

I bought these to replace a battery that had died in my kid's "power wheels" style ride on vehicle. This allowed me to charge and swap batteries, without having to park the vehicle while it's charging. Wiring these in was simple, and and the included connector was simple to install and held firmly.

Added this to my son's 6v 4-wheeler. Turned it into a 12V and made it more powerful so it could get through the grass.Construction and wiring seems strong on this product. Already swapped batteries numerous times and had no issue with that. Removing M12 batteries can be tough in general, but you want them secure as well. This is a good brand and product.
