Over the past twenty five years Tamarind Bay has been designing and producing furniture and accessories for a number of Five Star hotels and resorts, including the Four Seasons, which has and continues to be, a major client. In addition, we have worked on projects for Marriott, Shangri la, Mandarin Oriental, and other hotels and resorts here in South East Asia. Now, we are pleased to offer our new line of tapestry throw cushions here on Amazon. Our soft furnishings designer, Manat, "Nat", has, over the years, developed a close working relationship with many of the suppliers in the local textile market. These suppliers handle the locally produced silks, cottons and hemp blends produced by small home looms in the farming communities outside the city, as well as warehouse a vast selection of high quality imported fabrics. On a typical Saturday morning you will find Nat, in one of these textile warehouses, combing through and climbing over the hundreds of bolts of cloth, seeking that "just right selection of fabrics" for his next collection. The challenge is to combine rich textures and colors that cover a broad range of tastes and styles. Then, back to his sewing studio the Tamarind Bay company property, in the village of "Chompu", just outside Chiang Mai, where he and his team begin working on what will become our next offering.Please not that this item does not include the insert
