Single best book on the 3.2 Carrera
If you own a Carrera 3.2 this is the book to have It is not a service manual but an extremely detailed and accurate book on these cars. You owe it to yourself to buy and read this great and easy to read as well as interesting book on these cars if you are a fan. I'm a professional automotive Journalist and have owned 34 911 cars including a pair of 3.2 Carrera Coupes and I learned a lot I didn't know from this book.

Great book for a 3.2 owner
Lots of interesting info and stories. I usually gloss over that stuff but this was a good read. Some good tech stuff as well. Hats off to our Porsche friends in the UK.

Very In-depth look at 1984-1989 year model
This book provides you much more information than you can get from The 911 Red Book or The Used 911 Story by Peter Zimmerman (I owned both). Those are the two must have. Furthermore, Tony Corlett gives you a lot of personal opinion, like driving impression and feel. This is more than just dry numbers on specification and performance measurement. All the variation within the 3.2 Carrera model line are being covered. High quality nice pictures. The most important chapter is on the Turbo-Look M491 option. It dispells a lot of mis-information I got from internet forums.

Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera
As the owner of one of the subject 911 3.2 Carreras, this is the most comprehensive book I've read on this car to date. Some of the descriptions of the car tends to make the author a master of the obvious but generally a good read. Coverage of special models within the range is very good with a fair amount of detail.Given the author lives in England, much of the info deals with cars in that market however, it does have plenty of references to and pictures of U.S. cars. The upside is that living on that side of the pond makes access to some of the people involved with the car and the company (Peter Schutz) possible.Option and color codes are provided as are production numbers broken down by year, body style and market. If you own one of these cars or are thinking about buying one, this is a good choice

one of the best books on one of the best Porsche's
Anyone who knows Porsche 911's knows the 3.2 Carrera is one of the best 911's ever made. The classic 911 lines started getting "soft" after the 1987/88 model years, and of course, a few years later, the classic air-cooled engine, which some refer to as "bullet-proof", was gone. It was a thrill to find a book that specifically covered the 3.2 Carrera, and a bigger thrill to discover the author did a great job of it too. The pictures are excellent, as is the lay-out and text. As the 3.2 Carrera becomes more of a classic, I'm sure this book will too.

Must have for all 911 lovers. Nothing, and I mean nothing is like the last real 911.
Great book and will always remain in my library. Excellent pictures and really shows why the 3.2 was the last of the greats. Every 911 owner should own this generation at some time.

911, Last of the Evolution
A thorough and detailed look at these great cars. Lots of information about them, with loads of overall and detailed pictures of the car's features. Information on paint colours etc. engine specs etc. Good text, well written, so overall recommended for 911 3.2 enthusiasts.

G-Modell
