A bittersweet moment....
When I saw in Alternative Press that MoM had a new album coming out, my jaw dropped. I NEVER thought I'd see another MoM album released, and the fact that it took ten years for Tommy to crank out another is telling. Now, part of me wishes he never had. The album itself is not bad, it just sounds like it should have been under the Tommy Lee moniker, as opposed to MoM. That being said, Tommy's other solo albums were never my favorite but I did enjoy them for what they were. This however, is NOT MoM....The self-titled MoM album was loud, raucous, and heavy; whereas PDA is much quieter, calmer and more mainstream. Gone is the in-your-face underground Hip-Hop industrial vibe from the first album, replaced with a subdued mainstream rock sound. The album does have a few thrashers but they just feel like heavy tracks from a Tommy Lee solo album. There is not much on the industrial side either, any songs with electronic elements sound more like pop than grungy foot stompers. Tilo (Tommy's co-maniac from the first album) didn't even make the cut this time around. He may not have been super-prominent on the first album, but he was a nice vocal contrast to Tommy. PDA doesn't have any guest artists to speak of either. Sure Tommy has a band backing him (to his credit, he did quite a bit of the work himself), but the cameos from his first album were pretty awesome and I thought he would have done more collaborating. Methods Of Mayhem is one of my top 3 favorite CDs of all time. It featured skull-slammers like 'Crash' and 'Hypocritcal', not to mention the ever-infamous 'Get Naked'. PDA doesn't have any memorable joints of that ilk to speak of. Sure it has some competent 'rock' songs, but I where is the thump? Where is the ingenuity? Maybe Tommy should change the name to "Admirations of Adequacy", because there wasn't much mayhem to speak of.Remember, it's only one man's opinion!

Different, but good
It's a different kind of record for MoM. If you were really into the first album, get ready for a change. Tommy did a huge colaborative event on this disc and none of the original musicians are to be found here. The style of tunes are all over the place, but a majority of them work. It's like 12 different records in one. Enjoy it, but keep an open mind and don't expect another rap/rock album.

Methods of Mayhem _ Does it again!
Seems like its been forever since Tommy and the gang put out the first cd. The follow up is a four and a half out of 5.Lyrics are hot and the music is great. I got it at a unbeleavable price and was worth every penny! No its not Motley style, Tommy has a great flair of his on. Mixing a number of styles to come out with a great and worthy cd.

More quality musical exploration by Tommy Lee
It's a shame Tommy Lee doesn't get more recognition for his appreciation for musical diversity and his talen to explore it. The merit of his music should stand our more than it does, but probably gets drowned out by the public's preconceived notions of his tabloid persona, and Motley Crue identity. Thanks for not being afraid to mix it up, Tommy! Your music rocks!

Great Cd. Tommy Lee has still got it..
Great songs. He still has some good songs after being gone for 10 years from Methods of Mayhem.. For the $1 I paid how could I have gone wrong..

Love it.
A nice transition from Tommy Lee's previous album. This has a nice mix of different styles of music. Tommy Lee still knows how to rock.

It's Tommy Lee, what more needs to be said? Love all his side project music as much as his Motley Crue music

A more structured Mayhem
After a 11 year hiatus, Tommy Lee soldiers on under the banner Methods of Mayhem once again. This record takes more of metal approach than the bands first material and influence from Tommy Lee's solo album Never a Dull moment. The Rap-Metal style is still infused with certain songs with the occasional industrial sound thrown in for good measure. There are a number of good songs on this record to appeal to your heavier and more radio friendly musical tastes.

Methods Of Magnificence
This is a great modern sounding record. Gone are the hip hop tracks that have badly dated the first album. This is probably more solo Tommy Lee than a 'band' album but beats both Tommyland and Never a Dull Moment by being an album made up of many differing styles. There are easily 4 great singles on this album not including the two already released. The dance style tracks stand out for me simply because it feels like Tommy is doing what he wants on these and not what's expected of him. Having said that, he rocks out in big style all over this record and with all the contributions from fans worldwise via thepublicrecord.com there is much to glean from this album and so far is standing up to repeat listens.

Ottimo venditore consigliatissimo!
Veramente encomiabiliGrazie tantoGianfranco
