Ease of use.
I placed the item on top of my bathroom countertop, added a roll of toilet tissue and found it to be the perfect solution for an otherwise difficult situation concerning space; there was no room for a conventional tissue holder. This item works very nicely and looks great too.

The base should be a little bit larger.
The quality is okay, but the base is a little bit small. Not everybody doesn't use jumbo size roll but the base should be a little bit larger.

Very pleased with this purchase.
This toilet paper holder works well in my small half bath.

Simply does what it’s supposed to
I needed a toilet roll holder that sat on counter/floor but held the roll off the counter so it wouldn’t get wet, and that’s precisely what it does. No issues with quality.

Works great!
I actually love this thing. It does the job, doesn’t tip over, and the TP roll can spin on it. I’m not a fan of wood - a friend says I like “hunks of twisted metal” - but this holder works so well that I’m ok with the wood. Very pleased.

Meh...not impressed.
Mehhh.I knew this was too long but it was the only “table top” toilet paper holder in the Universe, apparently. The Amazon dude basically tossed the package on my cement porch. I heard it clunk. Wasn’t impressed by that. Not sure if it was from that or just the way it was, but I thought it was broken when I unwrapped it. It was leaning and the screw holding the pole to the base was loose, ready to come apart.I twisted it back in with a screwdriver, but it just kept twisting and never fully tightened so that’s not good.I put a roll of toilet paper on it and tried it out because I was also concerned that it might not stay in place when pulling a piece off the roll.Yeah, it didn’t stay in place. You’d have to hold the top I guess.I’m gonna have my husband put a bigger screw in the bottom and fix it that way and I’m gonna get non-slip feet or non-slip grippy stuff to cut and glue on the bottom. When all that’s done, I’ll try and remember to update if it worked or not.I wouldn’t recommend this though. Not impressed.Thought about just getting a paper towel holder and using that, stacking two rolls up or something instead.
