Period. - This is a great book (series of books). I bought this for pathology along with the pocket guide, review of pathology, and atlas. All of the books correlate together well as long as you have the most current editions. They all bring something great to the table. This bog book is amazing. The text is clear and there are great pictures and it is a great pathology book for medical students. I would imagine it would serve excellently in any other health care discipline too. I highly recommend this book and the other mentioned books too. Review: HEAVY text and worth every ounce - I bought a cheap older patho book last summer to brush up on patho - got this text in the fall when classes started. This text is miles ahead of the other and was extremely helpful in understanding detail in depth to fill in the blanks from lecture. I was thinking recently, that I would look up and and read in this text every condition I encounter in practice for a long while to put things in context. This text is so great I think this exercise will make me a much better NP. Only thing that would improve this text would be handheld version! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ shipping *by S***S on August 12, 2008* the book is great, really it is just what i needed. about the shipping however, it arrived much earlier than expected which is good, but, the spine of the book was quite damaged because the box it was packed into was too big for it and i guess it kept sliding around and getting bumped.
